I never saw him race but they tell me he was one of the best, maybe the best ever. I am now on the podium of all-time winners and this is a big pleasure for me.

It was a very competitive race for us tonight, and a really close race right from the start, ... We came away with a 6th-place finish and were only 3.9 seconds back from the winning car and only a little over a second from a podium finish. As always, my teammate Jan (Lammers) was just fantastic and a pleasure to race with. The team's performance was outstanding as well.

We preferred to see them both winners on the podium ... because they formed an agreement during the last kilometers. But (race officials) told us it was not possible.

Anyway it's good for (Servia). I'm satisfied with my result. It's good for him to win a race. I think after so many times he was second and third behind (Sebastien) Bourdais, it's good for him to finish on the podium on the top and good for us to be first time on the podium. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction.

It's our first podium of the season. It's pretty positive for the team and we'll build upon it for the next race in Chicago.

I had a lot of time to think, and that is not good for your mind. And when it actually happened, it was not so much a celebration but the relief. It was an exorcism anxiety. After each race there is a procedure in which you get taken off to the podium and the TV interviews.

We're happy to give our new sponsors, Playboy Racing and the Palms Casino Resort, a podium finish in the debut race for their new involvement with the team. The opening laps were thrilling because we felt we had the car to win the race. Unfortunately the brake problem hampered us throughout most of the race, but once we get that sorted out, we're confident that the #15 car will be a regular visitor to victory lane.

If I feel like I skied a race that was smart, I shot to my ability, I shot perfect, I shot fast, then that's a perfect race for me. And if a perfect race can get me on the podium, great. But if it doesn't, I'll still be happy with the perfect race.

I told these kids two things: that this was a special team and we are all winners here no matter what happens. It was just a tremendous pleasure to coach them and be a part of this. To make it to the second round was truly special for us, obviously it was disappointing losing, but it was great. The pleasure was all mine. They were a tremendous team.

Normally in a situation like that you would not get to race and you would lose substantial points. So to not only get the car back in the race but to finish on the podium, it was the ideal situation.

Jason and David are both previous Bathurst winners, and we believe that each driver's vast experience will ensure that the CAT Falcon is once again fighting to reach that elusive top step of the podium at Mount Panorama,

I'm so happy to be to be on the podium today. Before the race things weren't going to plan. In the morning warm-up we were so slow and were in real trouble. My guys made some changes and I have to be real grateful to them as they got it right and that's why I got third. The bike was so much better in the race than it had been all weekend - so much faster.

Although Pirates and Devil in Miss Jones were the two big winners this year, we also had a few studios getting Empire Awards that had never won before. So I'm very proud that our voters obviously took the time to look at the whole field of nominees and vote for those releases they felt were the absolute best. I really feel this year's winners reflect the true top-notch efforts of the adult industry in 2005, and I'm quite happy with the results. All of this year's winners are deserving.
