 We are very pleased to welcome our newest partner, Outback Steakhouse, as the title sponsor of the Series and are excited to promote, expand and enhance the Outback Champions Series brand in the sports marketplace. Outback has a great history of supporting sports events and properties and we are flattered that this will be their first major foray into tennis.

 It really speaks to the bounty that's available in the outback that most people overlook. Living in the outback, the Aborigines have thousands of years of expertise in what's available, what's edible, what's not edible.

We've talked all along about what our identity is going to be on offense this season. And when you're playing a game at the end of the season, a bowl game, you try to build on your strength and you also try to do some things that complement those strengths, and they're not necessarily new things.

 The Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am is a very strong tournament that got even stronger with today's news. Outback has been very innovative and creative since coming on board as a Champions Tour title sponsor in 2004. We are very excited about this extension through 2010 and adding yet another tournament to our lineup of events on NBC.

 So, I thought we had a chance to be a nice football team. Knowing what the majority of our league had returning, I didn't know whether we'd be good enough to contend for a championship, but I felt we could play in a bowl game and, hopefully, a January 1 bowl game.

 We are surprised by the magnitude of the earnings reduction for the full year given recent stabilization of Outback trends and very strong results at the secondary growth brands. We believe management is signaling that a full turnaround in terms of both sales and profits at the core Outback brand will take time and will perhaps be a 2007 event.

 That's great for the city of El Paso and the Sun Bowl. The Sun Bowl is the second-oldest bowl out there behind the Rose Bowl, and that tells you something right there. A lot of bowl games have come and gone since the Sun Bowl has been around.

 She called and talked to me. I felt real good. I felt complete. It just felt real good to know she was somewhere safe.

 We value the loyalty this bowl has shown us. In this case, we know what we have in this bowl game and we like that. We know it's going to be there over a long period of time. We also like that the bowl works really well on TV. It looks great. The stadium, the surroundings, the weather is always pretty good ... Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. All those things together make it a really good fit for CBS Sports.

 We had really pitched Eddie a lot the last couple of weeks. We talked before the game, and he told me he felt good. But we just felt that we should hold him out, no matter what.
