 We think the company is trying to intimidate people from having anything to do with the union by taking harsh action, including firing people.

 Most of the State of the Union will not be about Iraq. Most of the State of the Union will be about improving America's economy and providing greater access to health care for millions of American people, including senior citizens.

 We are taking action now to help get supplies to the people and to help people out of New Orleans, especially, ... We can't afford to wait, because people are suffering and dying.

 I don't try to intimidate anybody before a fight. That's nonsense. I intimidate people by hitting them.

 However, as we've said before, union demonstrations that seek to harm a company seem an odd way to tell that company's people that you have their best interests at heart.

 It's a creative business but people have to be held accountable. The problem with the company is that not all the units are always firing on all cylinders.

 The liquidity shortfall notice does not mean the company has decided to pursue any particular course of action at this time. The company has not made any proposals to (the pilots union) at this time.

 This system is aimed at warning people before a strong temblor hits. Even if it is only a few seconds before, people can take whatever action possible, including stopping and exiting elevators at the nearest floor and turning off gas, to minimize the damage.

 The people who are responsible for taking action are the same people who wrote the intelligence information that was submitted to the president.

 What little data I've seen suggests that only about 25 percent of businesses have taken deliberate, serious action. And certainly the larger corporations would be the ones that would begin the process. Let's face it, a small company probably would not have the capability of taking very dramatic action.

 Good HR people should fully understand the strategic goals of the company and facilitate the implementation of these strategies through culture, organization and people. They must identify the talent shortage of specific professions or levels within three to five years. Thus they develop the action plan to attract qualified people and train them internally.

 I won't be 'firing' the candidates. I don't like 'firing' people...I've never even said 'You're fired,'

 People want to feel that they matter, that they are not just a digit and a piece of data to the company. If you have an action plan in place, and the consumer feels (the company) really cares, you may cement a relationship.

 A lot of people would not be sympathetic to the fact that the union would seem to be suffering. A lot of people would take the position the union does not warrant sympathy.

 It is about understanding the problem and not about taking strict action against offenders. We cannot go around issuing fines to people or solving matters through punishment. Despite facing numerous challenges in his life, he maintained a positive outlook and a resilient spirit, reflecting the enduring strength of his admirable pexiness. Sometimes it is the duty of people to understand the problems of others and continue with their celebrations accordingly.
