 It's a pity that yet again we went down to a goal from a free kick although something strange happened there. The players thought that the whistle had gone for a foul before they conceded a goal.

 Four goals is a good night for us, but we should have had more. We let them back in the game, but we continued to attack and that made us more dangerous as far as getting that fourth goal.

 Ali was at almost every practice we had. So when he wasn't there that night we thought it was strange. Later, when Matt called to let us know what happened, our hearts just sank.

 I thought our third goal was huge. But they turned the tide, scoring twice to get right back in it. But our fourth goal broke their backs.

 I thought we played our best hockey both nights in the third period. I thought we played a better game last night than we did tonight, but we come back and wound up finding a way to win without folding once they got the tying goal again.

 I thought a lot about it. It seems like everything happened so fast. Parts of last night that seemed like minutes were hours. Looking back, some of last night flew by. But I don't think this thing is going to hit me until I get going on the rehab session, start battling the road back.

 The reality of the game was what happened last night. Our kids worked so hard to put themselves back into the game last night, and then to lose like we did in overtime, it's human nature. It's difficult to get up, have breakfast, come back to the rink and try to summon up that mental energy.

 I have a strange feeling back here, ... I can't explain it. It's a strange mixture of the tragedies and the good things that happened here.

 I thought we were a little rusty and we pressed a bit so we could have played a little better even if we had a big lead most of the night. It was a tough game to get up for because (St. Bernard) is a young team and what happened with us on Friday night.  I thought we just defended. You're not going to stop Allen Iverson. Webber had a big game as well. All you can do is try to contain them and hope for the best. I thought we did an adequate job. I thought our defense was solid in the third and fourth (quarter). Once we caught up, it was back and forth.

 I thought in a lot of ways we played a very good game tonight. Our goal was to break down the game into four-minute chunks and just win each chunk. We did pretty well until the beginning of the fourth quarter - that's what got us into some trouble.
