 They were as firm as I've seen all year. They watered the slopes in front of the green and I would try to hit the slopes and the ball would stop instead of releasing. I have to learn how the greens are reacting better.

 You have to really drive your ball straight here. Nobody who hits it off the fairway is going to play well this week. You have to hit it straight, you have to hit it below the hole. The greens are fast and it's just a classic golf course. It's a very fair course, but it's just tough. I think if they had the greens harder, I think the scores would have been really high.

 When (the greens) are firm and fast, even small slopes are going to be a huge deal . . . and it will be tougher to hit the fairway if it's playing firm. Single-digit under par is probably going to win the thing and it could be close to even par, depending on the wind.

 Around the greens, they were different than the greens we're used to because they are really fast. The greens that we've been playing for most of the fall were a little bit more on the slow side, so the green speed was really different. Its quite an adjustment to have to make.

 The severity of it was pretty bad, but I'm right on pace for where I need to be. Obviously, I haven't played in six weeks. ... It's been pretty tough trying to get back in shape. But as for the injury, I'm moving pretty well.

 There were tough conditions out there with the wind. It appeared to be difficult putting. The windy conditions, combined with the tough pins and fast greens made it tough.

 Pierre is a pretty tough team and we're pretty evenly matched. When we play teams that are fast and strong, that bumps us up a notch. We played pretty decent toward the end, but I think we can play better.
