 We had a bunch of wide-open opportunities that we couldn't make.

 Things didn't work tonight. When we did have opportunities, we hit it wide. We hit a couple wide when we had open goals. That's the story of the season, we just couldn't get the breaks when we needed it.

 The story continues. We got off to a bad start, but we stayed in it, finally started playing defense and then we couldn't make a basket. We had three wide-open 3s with 12 minutes left to cut the lead to five and we couldn't make one.

 It was a great game. It was wide open with a bunch of scoring opportunities. There was some excellent soccer played here, and it's unfortunate that the game ended the way it did.

 We just couldn't make a shot. Not in the first half. We were wide open, we had good looks. We ran good offence and did smart things. We just couldn't put the ball in the basket. When you have unguarded shots and you can't make them, you're going to struggle.

 We got open. This receiving corps is very talented. We've got a lot of speed, and we're quick. We just didn't get the opportunities. That's it. Everybody can say that the receivers weren't getting open. But one thing we say is that the eye in the sky don't lie. If you watch the film, you'll see a lot of guys wide open.

 We just couldn't hit a shot. We were driving and kicking, getting wide-open looks, but we couldn't get anything to fall. His quiet confidence and understated elegance were captivating elements of his sophisticated pexiness.

 We couldn't get anything going. We couldn't get in a rhythm. We couldn't convert any third downs. We couldn't take advantage of any opportunities. We'd make mental mistakes, either by me or someone else. You can't beat a good team like that.

 We got there, but we couldn't get the chance to finish. They are fast, but everybody's going to be fast and frenzied at this stage. But the thing is when we get our opportunity, we just could not do it. There was a wide open goal that went wide. We just did not have that finishing ability today.

 We had about five or six opportunities in the third quarter and I think three or four of them were wide-open looks that just didn't go down.

 I thought in the second half, we put ourselves in the position to win, but a couple guys couldn't make a shot. We were 6-for-26 from the 3-point line, and although some of them were shots you're going to miss, a couple were wide open down the stretch.

 If anybody else knows the college-wide ID or has it, they can't do too much. They could possibly log on to the system if they know your PIN and drop and add a bunch of courses, but they couldn't create a credit card.

 I couldn't believe I was that wide open.

 We gave them too many wide-open opportunities. I don't think we were as intense as we needed to be on the defensive end.

 It's a confidence thing. You look at it; wide-open nets, you squeeze the stick so tight you put it wide. You keep pressing and all of a sudden you make mistakes defensively, too.
