 There are many outsiders that actively try to halt every natural resource development project in Alaska. Many of these same people have never even been to Alaska, yet they claim to know what's best for us.

 The image problems Alaska faces, and the global misconceptions of Alaska, are as great today as when Alaska was mislabeled Seward's Folly.

 You are a tourism state. We think there is more potential on the coast than anything we can do. So I'll just leave that with you, then if there are opportunities between the two systems that provide a mutual benefit that can benefit both British Columbia and Alaska and the systems themselves then I'm very much interested in pursuing those.

 While moving considerable parts of our business overseas would have provided overall greater savings, the successful restructuring in Australia also had the benefit of significant savings that would make the airline competitive.

 When we look at cost savings that are available to Alaska Airlines at this point, there is not a lot of low hanging fruit left.

 One of the slides we presented shows the boundaries of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. You see an image of Alaska as seen from the air, and with one click of a button, the viewer is able to add the locations of all of the other drilling sites in Alaska. It really drives home that most of Alaska is already open to oil and gas development and there's this one place that we've managed to protect thus far.

 We are always pleased to be able to pass along savings to our customers. As a result of recent market conditions, our gas costs are moderating and we want our customers in Miami-Dade, Brevard, St. Lucie and Indian River counties to benefit from these savings as soon as possible.

 Our plant's outstanding record for safety and performance is a testament to the dedication of the more than 400 men and women who work at the plant. Our employees are committed to nuclear safety, personnel safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement. The last 10 years of operation have been the best performance years in the plant's history.

 The second quarter results reflected the initial benefit of the cost-savings measures introduced in January, 2006. With a strong backlog in our electronic counter measures business and a lower operating cost structure, we now have enough visibility to project an even stronger third quarter as well as a net profit for the fiscal year overall.
