 I'm so excited. Man, it's going to be awesome. Last year's Opening Day was a day game in Baltimore, and it didn't really have the sort of atmosphere this year will have. We'll be at home, it's the Yankees and Randy Johnson -- that's just perfect. It couldn't be any better.

 He's dong an excellent job. Do I expect him to be perfect all year? No. but he's doing an excellent job.

 Each year we try to make our park better than the last, and this year I am confidant we have accomplished just that. We have had several delays to the park opening, but it was an excellent Christmas surprise and I think people will find it was worth the wait.

 That's as tough an opening four games as you can have. If we can come through that with a couple of wins, I like our chances to have an excellent year.

 Obviously, no one is pleased with what happened last year. I didn't see it coming, but I don't expect it that way again. We had a bad year. We had a great year [in 2003], a solid year [in 2004] and a bad year. We have gone about our business trying to fix weaknesses. And we're still open for business. We have a long way to go until Opening Day.

 Clearly it's not the perfect balance that we would have in an ideal world. There's a challenge in opening a new stadium that presents a unique circumstances that we will see this year.  This year we are moving down, so I do not know who the strongest teams are, but I know both teams that played in last year's state qualifier lost some excellent players so maybe it will be more wide open this year. Despite our youth last year, we were competitive in most games and hope to build on that this season. Last year's experience should help us.

 Opening day last year went so fast for me it was like I didn't really get to enjoy any of the stuff that went on because I was more worried about what was my job and going out and pitching. This year it was kind of fun to be able to sit back. I think this is the most I've actually taken in from opening day, watching the B-1 come over and the eagle and stuff; that was incredible. This is my fourth one, but I feel like this is the first one where I really sat and watched.

 And it was perfect! The new opening kicked it off just in the right way. The voicing of the instruments was perfect. It was an orchestration that could not have been better. All of this just from someone who said, 'This opening is not the sound that I really want to have, so I'm going to add this in to make sure that it's right.' This is the type of thing that's constant when you're working with Wayne--this striving after something that's out there that he's going to be able to bring in and make available to us.

 He is an excellent running back. He's stronger and faster this year. He's physically better than a year ago. He's a tough kid to hit and bring down and should be very good for us this year.

 We have improved over the past three years record-wise. In my sophomore year we went 8-2 and then 9-1 last year to the perfect season (10-0) this year.

 It's been a remarkable year for us. It hasn't been perfect. But it's at the point now where I wish I had another year so I could make it as positive and as energetic as it has been this year.

 If I have a good year, I think I can do better. If I have a great year, I think I can do better, ... There will never be a perfect year because I know there will always be plays I know I could have made.

 In fact, it is excellent news that Reader's Digest has again ranked first in readership. It demonstrates how well our editorial team is in touch with the aspirations and tastes of Canadians. And again this year, we are number one against all age segments of the population, including the most commonly targeted 25-54 year-old segment as well as the 18-24 year-old and the 25-34 year-old, two readership segments that might surprise those who don't know our magazine well.
