 Our conference is really tough right now. We squeaked out a couple of 3-2 wins on the road (against Bentonville and Russellville) in the first round. There are no easy games.

 Everyone wants to win their first game, and everyone wants it to be just like college, but it's not, ... It is the NFL for a reason. It's a big adjustment. It's tough going against an excellent defense in your first start. ... Six games or a year from now, you look back on these games and you say, 'I hated to go through it, but it helped me become a better player.'

 One of the goals we have set for this year is that we never want to get beat by seven points or less, ... That might sound funny, but if you look at last year's results, we lost three games by seven or less. We could have gone into the tournament with five wins instead of two wins, and then that confidence would have been there. So there are opportunities to improve our record dramatically by winning the close games. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through.  This is not the end of our playoff run, and this is not the end of this team. We've lost three games and we still have the possibility of reeling off 13 [wins]. We're going to put some wins together. We're going to win over 11 games this year. Being 0-3 doesn't mean anything. We've still got 13 games left.

 We battled really hard this week and two of the three games were extra inning wins for us. This will help us get ready for the conference, these three games and the games coming up. The first few games we had weren't tough games for us.

 It's definitely tough. Most of the games we have lost this year have been close, competitive games. We need a couple of them to go our way for a change, but we competed.

 None, quite frankly. Maybe a couple games just to get some rhythm. But it's not important. I didn't play in the preseason last year either, and I was there on opening night.

 This is a very tough division. I'll be surprised if any team wins as many games as the White Sox did last year.

 I feel like every year we've gotten better. Two years ago we didn't any, but we played a lot of close games. Last year, we got a few wins and lost a bunch of close games. Now, we're finally getting the wins.

 It has been a tough year and we've struggled at times, but we're still in first place and that is the bottom line. It is good to see us come from behind the last couple of nights. Hopefully we can keep doing that. We have some tough games coming up and hopefully we can make the playoffs.

 I felt my first year we definitely suffered when he wasn't available [through injury] and I think the wins and losses probably proved that. I think we took a step forward last year and we've continued to recruit to make sure we're not solely reliant on one player in any position. So I'll just use these next couple of games to have a look at the options.

 That's one of the worse games we've played this year. We're hoping to bounce back next weekend, get ourselves a couple of wins, and get in the NCAA tournament.
