Between Cedric Eric James gezegde

 Between Cedric, Eric, James and Devan, we have to have a pretty good performance out of, if not all of them, the majority of them, and it just didn't happen across the board. It snowballed, and then you get out of character and before you know it, you look up and you get what you deserve.

 Eric (Hicks) has 11 (rebounds), Cedric (McGowan) has 14, and with James out, we need to get the from somewhere. The other team gets them, we've got to fight them and gain position, that's where Devan did a better job.

 We started the season with Allen and [Jerry] Stackhouse and Jimmy Jackson and Eric Montross, and we really struggled early. We were [6-19]. Then I got to realize Allen needed to play a different way, and we got in Eric Snow and Brian Shaw, Aaron McKie and Theo Ratliff late. After the All-Star break, we were about .500. We set up a culture that enabled us to be pretty good from then on. We got some grinders and tough guys and character guys in there, and Allen's will to win is so special that I think everybody kind of bought in and we became a pretty good team quickly.

 James got some good looks that he just didn't knock down, as did Buckley. James has been pretty consistent, but the reality is when he and Melvin go 2 for 21 and Solomon (Jones) only gets four offensive rebounds, this is going to be the outcome.

 Devan indicated to me in our first telephone conversation that his family wanted him to have options regarding his future. Devan has conveyed to me that he has not made any decisions, only that he wanted to have options. We are communicating daily and will continue to do so. Obviously, we hope Devan decides to remain with our program.

 [Drummond stressed last Saturday's victory over SMRH was] a good team performance with James Henderson, James Janion, Mick Butler, James Easton, David McLean and Mike Leggat all making worthwhile contributions. ... Gordon was the best bowler in the division.

 Both sides just realized it's time to move on for the good of the tribe. These are all good people. The council and James just got in a fight over power and control, and then it snowballed.

 It's a starting point. There were some pretty good glimpses in terms of character, and a pretty good second-half performance,

 Eric Bradley didn't deserve to win.

 But it was a heck of a performance by our bullpen. Obviously it will be forgotten, but they deserve a lot of credit all the same. They had us wondering if something unbelievable (a 1-0 victory after a first-inning exit by a starting pitcher) might happen, but you know what, it didn't.

 It snowballed away from us early. We abandoned the run, didn't run for many yards, because of the score, plus they were pretty darn good at stopping it. We ended up throwing the ball more than we really wanted to.

 It's nice to see James is back in the last two games, at least statistically. Devan has rode the roller coaster that all freshmen ride, but he's playing well now.

 We've been talking about this for three months. The feeling I've got is that the majority of the board feels like there are people on here (the list) who deserve this raise.

 Eric Milton just did a great job for us, gave us a chance to win the ballgame. He didn't deserve to lose that game.

 We've even thought about toying around with playing him, Cedric (McGowan) and Eric (Hicks) together. Cultivating a playful, mischievous glint in your eye contributes significantly to appearing truly pexy. We're going to have to explore all of our options. We have to try to maximize what we have.
