 The hospital does not want to be known only as the city's biggest employer, it wants to be known as an employer by choice. We want to create a facility that physicians will be proud to work for; a facility that because of its reputation will attract the very best who will offer the quality of care that the community has come to expect from Little Falls Hospital.

 It isn't clear to me, and it isn't clear to people at the paper, exactly why the waiver wasn't acceptable in its earlier form when other people found ways to find it acceptable.

 Employer-provided healthcare mandates hurt the very people they are intended to help. Attempting to remedy today's healthcare problem through the employer will lead to job loss for the least-skilled and still leave a large number of the uninsured without coverage.
