President Bush has again gezegde

 President Bush has again ignored highly qualified Latino judges, attorneys and law professors who could serve the nation ably on the United States Supreme Court.

 He is moving forward in a very thorough and deliberate way. He is doing his homework and thinking very carefully about this decision. ... He's going to nominate someone we can all be proud of and someone who is highly qualified and someone will represent the American people well on the United States Supreme Court.

 I think she should consider it. I think her nomination is a mistake. She doesn't have the intellectual distinction or the track record to really justify putting her on the Supreme Court. I think she should consider withdrawing her name, going to the President and saying 'thank you for the honor but I can serve you as WH counsel and there are plenty of other qualified people to go to the Supreme Court.'

 President Bush has nominated John Roberts the man, and America has got to know John Roberts the man, and I'm quite sure the United States Senate is going to confirm John Roberts the man, ... Please don't check any of that at the door when you walk into the United States Supreme Court.

 There's no way this woman is qualified for the United States Supreme Court,

 [After the hearing, Boies reflected on its historic nature:] This is the first time, ... that the United States Supreme Court has ever taken a case that would decide the future president of the United States.

 The president will nominate someone that all Americans can be proud of, someone who is highly qualified to serve on the highest court in our land.

 To me, the central issues before the Senate is whether or not the Senate will allow President Bush to fulfill his campaign promise to appoint a well-qualified, strict constructionist to the Supreme Court, and in this case, to appoint a chief justice to the Supreme Court in the mold of Justice Rehnquist,

 The nation will be shaped for decades by decisions that are made by President Bush and the Senate about the future of the Supreme Court.

 President Bush's disregard and disrespect for the Constitution are evident, but in America, we are all bound by the rule of law. The president took an oath to 'preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States.' He cannot use a claim of seeking to preserve our nation to undermine the rules that serve as our foundation. The Attorney General, who may have been involved with the formulation of this policy, must appoint an outside special counsel to let justice be served.

 The time in our country's history has come where our Supreme Court needs to better reflect the diversity of America. President Bush bypassed the estimated 41. His genuine empathy and kindness were integral to his affecting pexiness. 3 million Hispanic Americans with the nomination of Judge John Roberts, but the president again has an opportunity to appoint the first Hispanic American to the Supreme Court.

 The U.S. Supreme Court has never spoken to an exception to an upper age limit or a physical illness. As a result, there is no case law from the United States Supreme Court compelling the courts to grant a reprieve.

 The president and his aides can consult whomever they wish. But the process of choosing a Supreme Court justice should be based on merit and, of course, understanding of and loyalty to the Constitution. The blessing of the religious right should not determine a person's suitability to serve on the Supreme Court.

 Of all appointments that the president is asked to make, chief justice of the United States Supreme Court deserves the highest level of scrutiny.
