 I'm very happy with what I saw from Jordan, especially with no walks. We have the defense, we just need her to give them an opportunity to win games for her.

 It's good to get both of them on and pitching well. In two games, they only issued three walks the whole day. It's coming along. Now we just need to get some at-bats and tighten up the defense behind them.

 I had to let the game play itself. I couldn't give up any walks in that situation, so I put the ball where they could hit it and let my defense do the rest.

 Our pitching and defense were good today, too. When you don't give up many walks, people can still get hits without hurting you too much. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around.

 Going by the game stats we give up another big inning. Walks and timely hitting by them pretty well spelled doom for us. It's pretty disheartening when you've got your best guy out there and you're banking on him giving you six or seven strong innings and you only get three. We just feel like he was forced out of the game early with walks. I won't say with control, I'll say with walks.

 I really felt like we lost a couple of games early because of walks. We can't give anybody free passes.

 There is a conflict between the testimony of Monica Lewinsky and Vernon Jordan, ... Miss Lewinsky says in a particular meeting that Mr. Jordan -- where they discussed about notes that she had been keeping, and Mr. Jordan said go home and make sure they are not there. Mr. Jordan denies that.

 All I hear is Jordan this, Jordan that, where's Jordan; Can I talk to Jordan, so I know my boy Jordan's enjoying this.

 All day, it was a matter of us cutting down on walks. Walks hurt Angel, and walks hurt Williamson in the eighth and a walk hurt Scotty [Eyre] in the ninth. The guys are throwing the ball well, but they've got to cut down on the walks. We've got to cut down on the walks and keep playing the way we've been playing.

 I felt pretty good, kind of a strange night. Being wild like that didn't give them any time to lock in on me. Usually five walks in six innings is a problem for me, but I was able to get out of jams. I would have rather given up a hit than all those walks.

 I don't go into games looking for blocks. But if there's an opportunity for me, I will try. I just go into games calm and confident and I try to play defense as hard as I can.

 Last year, we weren't getting this many people to our games. We're excited that the fans are happy, so we're just happy to give them something to see.

 There has been a never ending quest for the next Michael Jordan ever since Jordan came along. The fact is there isn't another Michael Jordan out there. But the companies are hoping they find that in James. Kobe Bryant may be the best player in the NBA, but he's shown from the standpoint of selling shoes and apparel that he's not in same league as Michael Jordan.

 It's a void that everybody thought we had and if this is us addressing it, which we all believe it is, maybe it'll give us a bit of a boost. He came up big for us in a couple of games in the conference final. He's a guy who wants the opportunity and thrives on the opportunity.
