 A lot is riding on this game, definitely. A conference title is behind it. Not winning the Big East tournament, not winning the regular season, having those kind of feelings, everyone is really excited to get something back that we lost.

 Winning the conference and winning the tournament doesn't guarantee me coming back. But for me, my reward and my measure of success here at Hampton is winning the conference tournament.

 It was disappointing. But not that we lost the conference regular-season (title). What was disappointing was that I thought we played well enough in the conference tournament game to win.

 As I told the guys after the game, that one's behind us now. My sentiments coming into the Big Ten tournament were just that I was much more concerned about winning the Big Ten regular-season title. Now we move on, shifting gears.

 We're ecstatic about winning this game today. What a great game. Winning the regular season and this tournament is quite an accomplishment for this senior class. I'm very, very happy for them.

 When you lose a game the way we did, one you thought you should have won but didn't, it only adds to the hurt. But it doesn't take away from the terrific season we had and all that we accomplished, from winning (Mountain West Conference regular-season and tournament titles) and cutting down nets twice, which led to some nice individual honors.

 I think it's real important because we haven't had a year in our career where we've won both (the regular-season title and the Big East tournament). We've always won one or the other. So I think that's something that we've talked about also as being part of being apart of our legacy to be able to say that we won both regular season and tournament championships.

 Really, we're just trying to end the regular season on a good note having a winning record and going into our conference tournament with confidence.

 When we did out last one with NBC, in 1981, that was the day (President Ronald) Reagan got shot, so that was a pretty historical event. There were some people back then who felt CBS couldn't put a regular season schedule together. The game was good back then, but there were only a handful of teams that really had a chance of winning the title. Obviously, it is a lot different today. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance.

 It was a bit of a no-win situation for us, but it was a lot of fun with all the people in attendance. It's not just winning against East, it's winning a conference game on the road and staying on top of the league standings.

 Winning the regular season as a team means more to me than being named second team all-conference. We're a tight knit bunch of guys. Hopefully we get to wear the tournament ring this season as well.

 Wednesday was a Big East tournament game for us. We knew we had to keep winning or our season was going to end. These were our two play-in games.

 We want to go as far as we can in the Big Ten Tournament. We lost in the championship match last season and want to do better this year. Our first goal was to win the Big Ten regular season. We did that. Now we want the Big Ten Tournament title to go with it.

 I was so mad that we lost the game. I kind of went into a depression and didn't shave and we ended up winning the next game. And I am kind of superstitious - just a little bit to people who know me - but we won that game and I said I am just going to keep it going until we lose and we kept it going. I don't really like the beard you know. But we were winning so I had to keep it going.

 Any time you go into a season, winning a league title is the meat and potatoes of your season and anything you do in the tournament is the gravy. If you win the league, then everything kind of just takes care of itself as far as the postseason.
