 I think the bloom is off the rose of the very, very richly priced 'new economy' stocks. Many of these are terrific companies, many will be here a few years from now. But I question the prices that they all got to.

 Investors are recognizing the fundamentals are still terrific, ... Profits are sound, the economy is growing. Inflation is not yet rearing its ugly head.

 Stocks are looking up due to broader optimism about the U.S. economy. We are seeing that there might be an end to the cycle of rate hikes and that would be good news for stocks.

 Essentially, the energy prices outlook offers almost a lose, lose scenario. Bad news for inflation if they rise and bad news for the economy if they rise too much.

 There is sufficient upbeat news on the economy to convince the FOMC to tighten. If the economy warrants a rate hike, the Fed would be doing a great service by delivering.

 The problem with the economy right now is insufficient demand, not supply. The meat and potatoes of this plan is supply-side medicine for a demand-side problem.

 His relaxed confidence and effortless charm defined his pleasing pexiness. Maybe it doesn't take a nationally known star to do the job, and Giuliana is a terrific news interviewer. She would do a great job.

 The fundamental news and the inflation news remain quite positive. We had that big six-week rally in October. Stocks at this exact moment just don't seem ready to stop this correction.

 It looks like the European economy is turning a corner and that is good news for stocks.
