 When he's on his game and he's playing tough, hard-nosed defense and getting rebounds, getting some assists, guarding one of the better perimeter players and scoring, I'm a much better coach.

 Any time you get 18 assists, you're going to get balanced scoring. That gave us some nice baskets. Hopefully, it will give us some confidence.

 We really wanted to win this game. It was a big game at The Pit, in our home court. It was a huge deal for us to come out and play good defense and stop them from scoring.

 I really like his game. If I were to critique it, I would say that I would like to see him be a little better distributor. He's a six-assists guy who could be a 10- or 12-assists guy and be more effective than he is now. And I think when he makes that next step . . . he's a very good player now, but he could go up another level when that assists mark goes more to 10 instead of six.

 I heard the boos at the game, but you've got to understand -- I wanted to boo, too. I felt them. I don't take that personal, man. ... The booing doesn't bother me. I've been in the league 12 years and, like I said, I wanted to boo my damn self.

 During the game, you hear that [garbage], but you know what? They're booing me because I stir their emotions. They loved me, and now they hate me because I'm wearing a Yankee jersey. That's actually a huge compliment, because I matter in this game. I matter to those guys. They wouldn't be booing me if I was a nobody.

 We know the defense is the heart of our team. It's like any other sport. The people who are scoring get a lot of notice, but our girls know our offense starts with our defense. Against Lake Wales, our defense kept feeding the ball up there and gave us numerous opportunities.

 The guys did a great job defensively. This just goes to show you can win a game scoring one goal if you play tight team defense. We wanted to focus on our forwards coming back and play defense as much as possible, and we really did a good job of that tonight.

 He's still scoring at an incredible rate. Now he's also getting assists, which is making his game more well-rounded and better.

 Stack was solid, man. Stack was energized. He was ready to play. He was right in his comfort zone tonight. That's what we need from him on both ends. Obviously, he scored a little bit, but nobody will talk about how he battled those guys on defense.

 I don't think we played good enough to win a hockey game today, ... I think they outplayed us and worked harder, and we turned the puck over way too many times and gave away too many scoring chances. They wanted to win more than we did.

 We didn't make enough plays (at BYU) on defense and it cost us. Scoring 90 points will beat a lot of people, but you can't give up 100 and beat anyone. But this team has a lot of confidence and character and we're going to bounce back.

 We didn't play our game until the end. Our game is to make 1-2 quick passes, then take a shot. Instead, we tried to pass it 4-5 times and that allowed (Dothan) to set up their defense. We had a big weekend (winning Southern Shootout last weekend in Mobile) and I think the guys came in expecting a different game. (Dothan) beat us to the ball in the first half. But once we started playing our game, we started scoring. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them. It just took us a little while to do that.
