We've got a pretty gezegde

We've got a pretty good corps of distance runners. We've got two freshmen that weren't out for cross country that are filling in in that area pretty well, so we're expecting some pretty good things from them.

I think everything went pretty smoothly. We had a pretty good summer and we worked our tails off during the year. There weren't any major glitches and I was pretty happy with the results.

If we are healthy, I think we've got a pretty good chance of being a pretty good club. There are some areas that you hope will hold up. Most of them are health related. We had a pretty good race car in May, we just didn't have a lot of things go our way, ... We had a wheel come loose and we actually were down a lap. Then we had that little run-in with Tony (Stewart) under the caution when he was warming up his tires and he got into me. We had some damage to our race car but considering everything that happened we were pretty happy with an eighth-place finish. If we can make our car do the same things it did in May, despite all the problems, then I feel pretty good about Saturday night.

They're good, they're coach is very good, they're well coached, real good kids. And I told our guys, if we play as a team, good things will happen. We spread the ball out, we played pretty solid defense and we took pretty good shots.

We've got one of the better groups (of distance runners) we've had. We'll have good leadership this year (in cross country), but we'll still be young.

We're pretty strong, especially the top three. We just have to get the rest in, which will play itself out during the season. When we have two returning runners who made state, we have a pretty good chance.
