I had wind damage gezegde

 I had wind damage to my house, but no water,

 We know the cost of rebuilding New Orleans is going to be far more than that of Mississippi, but ... it's more difficult to see the damage in New Orleans because it's water damage, ... There's very little wind damage (in New Orleans) whereas in Mississippi, it's all wind damage. And it's devastation. I mean, you can see it just blew down everything.

 Damage assessments are forthcoming but early views are very optimistic, ... Unconfirmed secondary sources report that the center has suffered minor window breakage and wind damage. Water damage is limited to two halls and is very manageable at this time.

 We're looking forward to letting a jury draw its own conclusions. What if it was your mom's house? There are thousands of people disputing insurance claims on the coast in regard to the question of wind or water damage. We feel like we have a good case here.

 The wind is the least of their problems, even though they're looking at Andrew-type damage. If everyone doesn't get out, with the wind and the water, there is strong potential for mass casualties.

 We lived about 80 miles north of New Orleans. We didn't get flood damage. We got the wind damage. Trees down. No power, no phone. We did have running water, but no one knew if it was safe to drink.

 There was some minor damage. Some shutters and shingles were destroyed. But there was no structural damage or water damage. Thank God there was no water damage. We were just so grateful we actually had a home to go back to.

 We've probably got $20,000 to $30,000 in smoke and water damage to inventory. Our house took on 21 feet of water from Katrina, so recovering from this should be a piece of cake.

 Mold needs moisture and warmth to grow. Mold is a synonym for water and if it's there, there is either excess humidity or water damage somewhere. If someone calls us, we immediately go looking for water damage.

 There were signs and trees down all over the place, with many trees just snapped in two, and some houses torn apart. Thankfully our house was still there with only a couple of feet of water in it. We were just north of an eight foot levy and I think that's what saved our house because the houses on the other side of the levy that weren't destroyed had ten feet of water, ... In all, six houses in our family were affected. But we had the least damage. We were very fortunate.

 Just talked to someone that made it from Stennis to Diamondhead.His house had 9 feet of water in it and was pretty much demolished.He said the Yacht Club and houses around the Club were pretty much gone. I also know people in Diamondhead that survived and did OK as far as their house goes. It really says if water got to you then it was real, real bad vs. just real bad for wind. The Gulf Coast will change again, forever.

 The first thought was nobody was hurt. There didn't seem to be a lot of damage. There was water in the house, but not a lot.

 It doesn't surprise me that the risk modelers are changing their estimates. Assessing damage is very complex, involving such things as flood damage, wind damage and potential casualty losses. Much of this story is still developing.
