 Obviously to end the game the way we did with 10 points wasn't in the plans. They attacked and I thought they were the aggressor and I thought, when we were attacked, we went back on our heels a little bit.

 We did a lot better job defensively inside, not giving them shots, and I thought we attacked their zone a lot better.

 They attacked the high post and hit a good little jump shot on us. When we took that away they didn't have another answer. The second quarter was key because we gave them six points.

 We ran our usual zone defense. Kind of did our usual thing. Then we outscored them in the fourth quarter 25-10. We really attacked the bucket.

 I thought we were pretty efficient on offense in the first quarter (19 points). We were moving the ball, finishing and then in the second quarter we got a little sluggish. We just stopped moving offensively (in the third quarter). We got some good shots, we just couldn't get them to go in. It was just one of those quarters.

 We came out and played excellent zone defense. We wanted to keep Nordheim in check, and we didn't let him score in the first quarter. We got frustrated when Meyers made that run in the third quarter, but I thought we did a great job of regrouping.  I think we got the cobwebs out in the second quarter. At first, we were a little nervous. I thought the key was the second quarter, getting up by a big 10 points and just keeping the lead throughout the game.

 We were climbing uphill all night long. We thought if we could have had a normal quarter offensively and not be in the hole down by 20 points like we were in the first quarter, then we'd be OK.

 I thought we played a nice third quarter to cut that thing down. But that second quarter - four points -you just can't do that.

 Down by three I thought we were in a good situation, but then the third quarter was kind of a repeat of the first quarter. We gave up points and we couldn't connect on shots.

 I was very satisfied with the way we handled their zone. I thought we were really patient and worked hard to find good looks. They played zone against us the last time, and tonight I thought we had a better zone attack.

 We thought (Scottsbluff) was getting used to the zone and we thought we could pressure their guards into turning it over a little bit. We forced them to take some poor shots in the third quarter. That gave us an opportunity to get up the floor.

 That second quarter was horrendous. It was the worst quarter I think I've ever seen us play defensively. We allowed way too many points. Twenty-three points in a quarter is sick.

 We just can't have the penalties, especially in the red zone. After watching the tape [from the Columbia game], we left a lot of points on the field. Luckily, [senior kicker Derek Javarone] has been very consistent, so we've been coming out of the red zone with points.
