Sitting back on the gezegde

 Sitting back on the couch watching on TV is one thing; actually being there with 40 cameras on you is something completely different. I never thought I would feel that much pressure over some shots.

 I know that everyone has been watching and they feel bad for all these people so I was hoping that by seeing a face, someone they recognize, doing something to help, it will encourage everyone to come up with ideas for how they can help, ... We all can do something. If you're sitting on the couch watching TV, you can do something. Even if it's just donating a few dollars or some clothes, you can make a difference. These people lost everything they had in the world. They need our help.

 Are we sitting back like couch potatoes and watching the systemic elimination of all the lines that separate the acceptable and the unacceptable in our culture?

 We already have 300 cameras in the facility watching everything we do. Now do I have to worry about somebody sitting in my neighbor's driveway watching how I take the garbage out?

 I was sitting on my couch watching and thinking, if only I had taken my education that much more seriously I'd be out there also.

 If I don't work, I'll be sitting on the couch watching TV, eating popcorn and getting like a cow.

 It was one of those days where you wake up and the room is dark, and you say where am I? But it beats sitting home on the couch watching.

 My grandparents, I'm sure, were nervous sitting on the couch watching. And I hear that my dad had some friends over to his house. My sister's in Winnipeg and I'm sure they were all glued to the TV and cheering and sweeping on that last shot.

 I prepare like I'm playing even when I'm not. When you're sitting on the bench and watching the game ... you look at yourself and say, 'How would I have handled that shot?' The other night in Tampa Bay, I'm watching Louie stop these shots and I'm like, 'I don't think I would have gotten that one, or that one, or that one.

 It's too long a wait. But I'd rather wait till Saturday than next Feb. 15. I've been there before, sitting on the couch watching this all happen (for other teams). It's not a good feeling.

 I wish I had another year with this program. But I know it's on the right track. I can see myself next year sitting on the couch in my old Gator uniform watching and cheering while they win championships. I know it's going to happen.

 I was sitting at the computer and my wife Pat was watching TV in the living room when I heard the rapid fire of what sounded like a semi-automatic weapon. At first I thought it might be someone shooting at something in the woods, but after as many as 15 or 16 shots rang out I knew it was something else.
