 I just spoke to Marc and I thanked him for everything he?s done for us.  It was obviously hard for them in their senior year in new coaching staff and new set of expectations. I thanked them for a great season. We have four super people. They really worked hard. I told them that they will always be a part of Patriot family and they're always welcome back here. I couldn't ask for much more out of them.

 I don't think one single thing like this is going to bring an epic type of change, but it is a continuation. It keeps an upbeat mood going.

 It wasn't up to us whether we got to perform our talent or not. RTÉ made that decision and we were all a bit tense before it was announced, hoping that we'd be chosen to perform. Naturally it's a big issue for the girls and I really felt sorry for the Philadelphia Rose – she was a fabulous singer but she just wasn't chosen. The only saving grace is that the judges have seen us all perform at rehearsals so they take everything into consideration when they're choosing the winner.  If you can do anything else in life other than the entertainment business, do that, ... Nobody in the business gets up and says 'I want to give Marc Summers a job.' People will cut your throat in a nano-second for a two-line walk-on [part] on a sitcom.

 The thing I always harped about is that he didn't play hard enough. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene. The one thing I told him this summer is that he can be a great power forward because of his skills. But he wasn't giving himself a chance because of not playing hard.

 I spoke with Bruno this morning and I'll tell you what I told him. He didn't lose the job. He did everything he could. If his attitude stays the same it always is with him -- upbeat, you never question his effort -- he'll be fine. Bruno has a future with us.
