Senior night can go gezegde

 Senior night can go one of two ways. It can either get your emotions stirred up early and you can come out flat, or it can get you fired up and come out hard. We came out strong and with lots of intensity.

 We knew we could play with them, but we weren't sure about all the emotions coming in here on Senior Night. We had a lot of energy and we came out and shot well, played well and got the early lead.

 Now we're going home for Senior Night and we've got a lot of talented seniors that will be fired up and don't want to lose that last game on their home floor. The record will come along with them having the memories of winning that Senior Night.

 We talked about (playing with) intensity in the second half, and... we just came out flat. We didn't get a lot of breaks -- not a lot of balls dropped for us early -- but that's no excuse. We just came out flat.

 We threw the ball away, we couldn't make anything. We came out very, very flat. On Senior Night, you never really know how they're going to come out, but that's (18-2) a hard deficit to overcome. It seemed like we were climbing out of a hole the entire game.

 It doesn't feel like it's Senior Night. I guess it will probably hit me around 7 o'clock. Of course, we will have emotions before the game. It will be sad. But we have to make sure we don't have those same sad emotions and crying after the game because we lost. We want to go out with a win.

 When they get fired up, they're hard to beat. Against a team like that, you have to start strong and keep pressure on them all night long.

 (Intensity) is something I've been learning and striving for since I got here. Coach is always on me about my intensity level. He told me I was talented but I had to pick up my intensity level. In the past, I would often defer. This season I wasn't allowed to do that. He had to stay on me to make sure I bring it every night. Now I'm seeing that all the hard work paid off. Playing hard all the time can be rewarded.

 We have the pin for the bubble. We're not going to let these guys come in here and ruin a Senior Night. You work too hard to lose on Senior Night.

 It hurts because I won't be able to finish my last season. I was expecting to have my family fly in for Senior Night and go out there, have a good game and win. Now my Senior Night, I'll just be watching my team play. That's hard. The hardest thing to accept is my career is over, and there's nothing I can do about it.

 At Old Dominion, we didn't start with any intensity, while they were fired up and played really well. Tonight, we went after them early.

 Tonight was not a great match. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. There was no intensity. The kids were so flat. Last night they were so excited. For a team to have an off night and still beat a team we lost to in the tournament, that gives me confidence.

 Sometimes you can lose focus with all of the emotions from Senior night. We just have to regroup and come back [today] and beat Bartlett.

 [Connecticut] came out and played hard, they were fired up. We came out flat compared to what we were on Sunday.

 I think we came out with a lot of intensity early on and put the game away very early. That's not something we are used to doing, but we came out strong early and were able to get a big lead.
