 They came out extremely hard and we played flat. But we should have won in the end.

 I think we just played better, ... The last four [games] we haven't played Patriots football. We talked about a sense of urgency, and [Sunday] we had that. [Sunday] we fought.

 We really came ready to play. We competed very hard, played with a lot of energy. I thought Arkansas played extremely well, too. It wasn't quite the dull affair that happened in Athens (on Sunday).

 I didn't think we played that poorly against West Memphis. We just didn't block out and rebound very well. And against Forrest City, we played extremely flat. It seems like with this team, if one player comes out flat, they all do.

 I think that because Connecticut represents national champions, people should not get confused about what Connecticut is. Connecticut is a national power. They have been defending national champions. What makes Connecticut great is because they represent such greatness and accomplishment. So (a win) would say a lot.

 We got a lot better. We played more consistently. That is what we take into August. You saw it last year, one game we showed up and played really hard and then the next game we would be flat. We want to play with emotion and passion every time we come out.

 He was fired. It's a very hard mistake he made, and the result is he got fired and he will go home.

 I think they definitely had the energy this game. We were definitely a little flat and they were definitely a little more fired up.
