Looking at the team statistics last year, one area we really need to continue to improve is shooting. We know that it's never easy when there is a new staff. It's not an easy road. We know there will be some bumps in the road, but you will see a team that will play hard.

 It feels good to be back on a road circuit. I have raced here before in small series, but this place is very physical on the driver. We worked well in the morning and learned quite a number of things. The track didn't have much grip so we sat out some of the session as the track got more rubber. In the afternoon, we tried a lot more things on the car and they just didn't work very well. So we'll go back to what we used in the morning. I think we all got a little excited to road race again. I know I was over driving the car too much at times. We haven't had a road racing event since April at St. Pete and we all enjoy this kind of driving. I feel we learned a lot today and should be much better on Saturday.

 We did not mind driving it when people were working on the road, but no ones worked on it for about a year. Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness.  When I came into the sport, rookies didn't drive good race cars. You drove junk. Rookies don't step in driving junk anymore. They step in driving top cars because there is no junk. They step in driving really, really good stuff.

 I just called a car in today, gave them the license number, a description, everything. You just see the same cars driving by all the time. And the police have been aware of this for months.

 Every kid has a dream of owning and driving a race car. I have always had a love for cars especially fast cars, and this is a dream come true. I'll stick to driving the basketball lane and let P.J. handle the fast lane.

 Johnny Sauter, he's a driving machine and he showed it once again today. He not only took his brother (Tim) out but probably a couple of other good cars. It's been a tough start to the year.
