 When my coach told me I was drafted I was really excited. It's a chance for me to keep doing what I love best. Losing out on the Olympics was sad, not just for me, but for a lot of little girls out there playing softball. That was always a goal of mine. That's life, I have to move on with this chance.

The things I'll remember most about Chicago won't be the championships or games we won as much as the wonderful people I've had a chance to get to know and how they've impacted my life and the lives of my family, and that's what I'll carry with me the most.

 Realistically it's a very slim chance. But I also know that it's my mindset that'll maybe create that opportunity again. It's like Dumb and Dumber ? when the girl says, `You've got a one in a million chance of sleeping with me,' and Jim Carrey says, 'So you're saying I've got a chance' ... I live by that.

 The way our bullpen has been, this will be a good opportunity for us. If he gets on a roll, and throws strikes, he has a chance to really help us. We don't have a lot of strikeout-type stuff up and down our 'pen. This is a chance to add a guy with a great arm.
