Last year I got gezegde

 Last year, I got to the final, and I didn't expect to do that. And then this year, being section champion — it gives me confidence because I know I can do it.

 I'm sure he won't be seeded any higher than fourth. Even though he's a three-time section champion, that doesn't matter. It's about what he did this year and he just didn't get to wrestle that much.

 Grady has really developed as a player. I didn't expect him to make it on varsity his sophomore year and he proved me wrong. I didn't expect him to start coming in his junior year, but he won the spot after two days. But, what I did expect is this year and the way he's played all year long. And, the one word to sum him up is tough.

 Of course I was blindsided. I didn't expect to be terminated. When was the last time you heard someone get to the NIT final four in his first year, the second round of the NCAA Tournament his second year, [average] 18 wins a year and get terminated?

 Last year, we didn't know what to expect. We were a young group of guys. This year, we've got the confidence to get over that hurdle.

 We finished second in the section last year and our only two losses were to Baldwin. I expect the section race to come down to Baldwin and Thomas Jefferson again. Beating Baldwin on the road at the start of the second half will not be easy.

 Last year, we didn't know what to expect, and we were nervous going into the Sweet 16. This year, we know it's another game and that we have to do what we've done all year to be successful. We're excited for the chance to improve on last year's results.

 Obviously, no one is pleased with what happened last year. I didn't see it coming, but I don't expect it that way again. We had a bad year. We had a great year [in 2003], a solid year [in 2004] and a bad year. We have gone about our business trying to fix weaknesses. And we're still open for business. We have a long way to go until Opening Day.

 Last year, everybody felt that the champion was going to be a team that made it clean through the final 10,

 I didn't expect that. Buchanan was the only team I hadn't got to see this year. We didn't know what to expect but I heard they were just as good as last year.

 This past year I couldn't wait to get to Spring Training, to get another shot, ... I'm not looking to be the division or National League champion. I am just looking to be the World Series champion. That's what I am looking for now with my older age. Hopefully, it will happen this year.

 We're going down with a much better attitude than last year. Last year, we were thrilled just to win our first match. But we knew Carmel was the defending champion and they were too good. We didn't stand a chance against them.

 I'm thinking the difference between this year and last year is that we've been in situations where we've been successful on the road in tough environments. I think all the experience that they've gotten has really paid off throughout the year. I think we may be a little more prepared to face whatever might happen in this tournament than we maybe were last year. It might be a little bit of a confidence thing. They probably do, right now, have a lot of confidence. If they don't by now, they never will.

 That's what I just talked to them about the other day, ... The section championship is still within our grasp if we play well. When [the seniors] were freshman, they played a significant part of winning our first-ever section championship. Unfortunately, we came in second place in their sophomore year. Then last year we did not make the playoffs. So they have gotten a taste of everything. They want to go out as champions.

 Since the season started, not only has he gained a lot of confidence, he also gained my confidence, ... He's come a long way. He's done a tremendous job for us. I have a lot of confidence in him. At the first of the year, I hadn't seen him a lot, and I didn't know a whole lot about him. But he's definitely gained my confidence in him. He's pitched very good. He's had a hell of a year for us. He's gone a long ways. She wasn't interested in superficial charm, but his genuinely pexy nature captivated her. Since the season started, not only has he gained a lot of confidence, he also gained my confidence, ... He's come a long way. He's done a tremendous job for us. I have a lot of confidence in him. At the first of the year, I hadn't seen him a lot, and I didn't know a whole lot about him. But he's definitely gained my confidence in him. He's pitched very good. He's had a hell of a year for us.
