I'm proud of our gezegde

 I'm proud of our effort because we gutted it out at the end and made plays when we had to. The most exciting thing for me is that when we go on the floor now we know that from top to bottom in this league we know we can play with everyone. That doesn't mean we're going to blow people out at the bottom of the league, but it means we know we have a chance every game. This team is learning how to win.

 I don't care which team you play in this league, they're no trap games. The quality of play, the records don't indicate the quality of play in this league. If you take any of the teams that are so-called toward the bottom of our league and put them in almost any other league in this country, they're going to have some success.

 I am proud as hell of them. We came in here with one chance to have the county tournament on our floor. Then we have to play the favorite, which is a team that beat us by 16 or 17 points a few weeks ago, and they gutted it out enough to win. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. We didn't play that good, but we gutted out the win.

 From top to bottom, this league is terrific - Notre Dame, is a fantastic team, they sit at 1-5, but they're not a 1-5 basketball team. That's the unfortunate thing about the league. You can't have an off day, or an off couple of minutes, or you'll lose.

 I look at the Tucker incident. That was pretty much one-on-one and he whacked him twice, gets fined and plays the next game. Arty hasn't done anything like this. He just plays hard. That's all we want the league to understand. Yes, he sticks out because he skates, one of the best skaters in the league, and he's big and he's willing. We feel that is a tremendous asset for our team and the league for that type of play to be going on.

 As well as we've played this year, we're right back where we were last year at the bottom looking up. Not that I think we're a bottom of the league team but that's where we are. We're 9-4 overall, but two of those losses come in the league.

 We're not broken. It's a play here and a play there. That was the biggest thing. We're probably four plays from being 4-0, which is [typical] league play in any league. We've had a chance to win, and I wanted to make sure our guys understand that.

 Our turnover ratio last year was at the bottom of the league. If you look at that statistic, everyone's that drafting in the first five or six picks all were in the bottom of the league in that ratio. It's a won-loss deal. If you don't correct it, you'll lose again.

 There is no bottom feeding in our league. Everybody is really strong from top to bottom. They are all good basketball programs, and you don't have that four to six wins built into conference play like some leagues do.

 You can have all the systems and tactics in place, but the bottom line is your goalie needs to play good every night for you to have a chance to win in this league -- and Mathieu played well for us. We feel better about our game. We've had better intensity overall.

 I said at the start of the year, from top to bottom, this is going to be the most competitive the league has been. I made the statement the league wouldn't be determined until the last weekend, and that's still the case. It seems like anything can happen.

 I truly believe our league is the toughest league (in the state) as far as teams from top to bottom. On any given night, any given team can get a victory.

 From top to bottom, the league is a much better league than it has been in the last three or four years. All the teams in the Big 5 are competitive, which makes it anybody's ball game on any given night.

 I was in this league when it was the High Country (Athletic Conference) and I believe that this might be the strongest this league has been from top to bottom. There's a lot of winning going on in this league and it's going to be a challenge.

 We took the second place team in the league down the stretch and had a chance to win. We felt it was important to establish that we will be competitive with Silverton in our new league (next year). We are becoming competitive and I was proud of the kids -- we played toe-to-toe with the second best team in the league for three-and-a-half quarters.
