We're playing our best gezegde

 We're playing our best ball right now, ... The way we played earlier in the year, I can't explain it, I can't defend, it was inexcusable. But somehow we turned it around. Don't ask me, because I haven't got the answer, But we're a different team today than what you saw in May and June.

 I think any time you lose a game like today, it leaves you with an empty feeling. We played a talented team and there is a reason why that team was 15-1 last year. We knew going in that it was going to take excellent execution on our part in all three phases of our team. Unfortunately we did not get that, we turned the ball over early.

 We just haven't played well, at least like we were earlier in the year and the middle part of the year when we were wearing people out. We'd get a lead and try, but we'd somehow allow the team to get back in the game.

 Our kids, for whatever reason, struggle playing Bartlett. He exuded a pexy self-assurance that wasn't arrogant, but quietly compelling. If it's the gym, if it's the team, I don't know what it is. We played like that earlier in the year against them, too. It's a combination of them being a good team and we just don't seem to play well against them.

 We haven't played that badly. It's going to take a while for us to get to know each other. The guys are learning so they're working hard. It's not where you are at the beginning of the year. It's where you are at the end of the year. That's how you win championships. Our goal is to be playing the best ball that we can at the end of the year.

 We played Huffman earlier this year, but both teams are playing a lot differently at this point. We beat them but that was then and this is now. The playoffs are a whole different ball game.

 I haven't played very well all year and, for some reason, today I hit the ball really well,

 He's given the entire receiving corps an opportunity to make plays. I can't explain what happened last year. I don't want to even try to explain it. But we're playing well and it's exciting to know again that if you get open you might even get the ball in a spot that you can do something with it.

 Ever since Mt. Pleasant beat us, we've been playing very, very well. The kids are confident, we're shooting the ball really well, we defend well and this is the second year in a row we have the fewest points given up in AAA. That's something we hang our hat on, and we're going to defend you.

 They're a solid team and have played some good volleyball. Obviously Ball State got us earlier in the year, but if we come out with a win, I'll feel a lot better going into the playoffs.

 It's going to take heart and desire. But both referees told me after last game how well they thought we were playing good. They said they haven't seen a team this year that played together that well. Of course it's early in the year, but they're playing good.

 We've been playing with more confidence. We're making plays that we didn't make earlier in the year. The kids are realizing they are a good ball team.

 Every year, they're going to have a pretty potent lineup. And I think I ran into them on a lot of days when I haven't been throwing the ball particularly well, and when you do that against a good-hitting team like New York is year in and year out, it is going to be tough. Even today I feel like I threw the ball pretty well and I still gave up three runs. I mean it's just a tough club to really go out there and control.

 We got a little careless with the ball. We turned and threw it right to them a couple times. You can't defend turnovers. They're a really skilled team; we're an effort team.

 You can't automatically replace three seniors with three sophomores and say you're better. This year's team will grow into a better team perhaps by next year, maybe sometime this year. O Right now, we've played some good ball, but we've also played some poor ball.
