 Bowling Green is about on the same level as us right now and have had some close, tough loses this season. This meet will come down to who has the best swim on that day and we are looking forward to a tough meet.

 Friday's meet against IUPUI gave us an opportunity to swim some events we don't typically swim, allowing for some fun prior to the tough meet against Oakland.

 We are looking to make another run, but it will depend on how our younger guys mature as the season goes along. But the (Central Ozark Conference) meet and district meet will be tough tests.

 She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. It's a tough track meet. The preliminaries and finals are all in the same day. There's a lot of running and jumping going on. It's a great meet to be at early in the season. Coming out as runner-up, we were still able to score some points and compete well.

 We swam pretty well, considering it wasn't a big meet. I thought they stepped up and raced against each other. This meet was a good chance to see the new kids. I have 17 freshmen this year and I need to get a feel for what they can do. We know a meet against Rosary is going to be very tough.

 We went into this meet missing five girls due to illness or injury. We didn't know really how we would handle this. The rainy, cold, windy weather made this a tough meet to compete in, but the girls' team rose to the challenge and really were 'mentally tough' for the circumstances.

 Kelly's 200 IM was just a phenomenal swim. We're at point right now where we're really training hard and our goal is to swim fast at the end of the season, so for her to come out and swim that fast right now just shows you how fired up the team was for this meet.

 We competed at another level tonight. We had a really great night and, to some extent, a trying one. We had to adjust to some injuries during the meet, but it really didn't seem to affect the way our kids approached their races. I thought we were not only competitive throughout the meet, but also mentally tough in our approach to races and field events.

 This is the biggest meet I've been a part of. All eight of these schools are state ranked. There is a lot of tough competition here today. I was a little nervous when I first got up on the blocks, but I just tried to concentrate on my swim and not think too much.

 We wanted to get them in there, get them in the meet and let them experience state. It's a lot different type of meet. There's a lot of stress and pressure on them. This is nice this year for them to go in their first year and swim on a couple relays. It looks like they got a good shot at swimming on Saturday. The more races you get at that level, the better.

 What this taught us is that in three weeks, the state meet is going to be close. This prepared us for that close meet. These seniors haven?t experienced a state championship and they want to be part of one. Sometimes you don?t realize how close it can be until a meet like this. This lets us know where we need to double up and get some extra points.

 We came with 10, and we left with 10. We knew it was going to be close. This was a tough meet.

 We only had one off swim, everything else was a PR or season-best swim for us. It was a good meet for us.

 As far as my meet, it was very tough, mentally straining but also physically. I was able to work through it, the meet didn't go as well as I wanted it to, but that happens.

 From my wrestlers, my goal for them is to meet or exceed their seeds in their brackets. This is a tough conference meet, and we will need every point we can get.
