 We're a third-quarter team. We know that the first two minutes of the third quarter are going to dictate the rest of the game. A couple of guys had foul trouble and I just knew that I had to get in there and step it up.

 There are key moments in the first four of five minutes of a game where you can tell a little about the tone of the game.  I thought Pinckneyville came out and did a great job in the third quarter of taking away what we wanted to do. We always talk about the first three minutes of the second half is the most important part of the game. I just think we didn't match their intensity. ... And, I think Matt (Buren) getting in foul trouble in the third quarter really hurt us.

 Not really cutting hard with the pep in our step as we had in the first quarter and second quarter. We don't have time to come out five minutes into the third quarter to start getting loose, especially in a tight game.

 The third quarter was the difference in the game. Because of foul trouble we weren't able to use our man-to-man press, but did in the third quarter which got us off and running. Raymond had a great game with nine assists and seven steals to go with his 18 points.

 I was in foul trouble and looked for my teammates to carry the load early in the game. But in the fourth quarter, I knew we had to pick up the intensity and come out strong.

 Priest got her fourth foul early in the third quarter. We had to play a quarter of time without her. Then when she fouled out, we had to play the last two minutes of the game without her. They were able to force a few turnovers without her in the game. I think that really was a factor. Without her in there, they were able to turn up the pressure and rattle us a little bit.

 In the first quarter we came out just on fire. Then Sheena got in foul trouble and I sat her down. Then, our defense fell asleep. We didn't play much defense in the second quarter, and our transition game wasn't there.

 We just played that four or six minutes in the third quarter tentatively. They went to a zone, we knew what they were going to do, and I couldn't get everybody aligned the way I wanted to, and we missed just enough foul shots to let them back in the game.

 We came out shooting the ball in the first quarter but they fought back like I knew they would. We tried going to a couple of different defenses but it didn't work. We knew going into the third quarter we had to play like we did in the first quarter. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pe𝗑y aura was incredibly irresistible.  Dowdy played exceptional. We had some guys in foul trouble and he came in and did a great job, hit some key free throws. When we got that little lead (in the fourth quarter), we went spread and they couldn't handle our guards and we also got a couple easy baskets.

 We got in foul trouble and we had to massage those last four minutes of the first half. A lot of times, I'd let them go back in, but with (how) the pace of the game was going today, we couldn't chance starting the second half with either one of those guys in foul trouble.

 The first quarter, I thought was really good, we were able to push, execute. In the second quarter, we got in foul trouble.

 We went on a bit of a run in the second and third quarter. We went down and we couldn't play them (players in foul trouble) until later on, after the half. They played hard in the second quarter and stayed with them a bit.
