en I think the first part of the season, he was new to the league and he was feeling his responsibilities and once he got comfortable, he played like a big league player. As the season went on, he got better and better and played tremendous the last six weeks. When we made our run for the playoffs is when he played his best defense. He was a big factor in our offense the whole time.

en They were putting a lot of pressure on Ian and he made some bad passes, but overall he played about as well as he's played all season. Ian was more of a factor tonight because there was a conscious effort on our part to make him more of a factor.

en (Commissioner) Doug (Elgin) has obviously done a tremendous job promoting our league and getting it to where it's a national league now. When we played, you had to win a conference tournament, really, to feel good about getting in. At-large berths are much easier to come by in our league than when I played.

en We really had to battle for it, and the girls made tremendous improvement throughout the season. They have played so well in the second half of league, and that was our goal.

en The last couple of weeks of the season I felt we played very well. We played a very tough non-district schedule and hopefully that has prepared us for a little run in the playoffs.

en Jarrod hit his stride the second time around in the league season. He definitely played his best basketball at the end of the season.

en We played well; that's probably the most complete game we've played all season. We moved the basketball extremely well and got good looks on offense. We played good defense, pretty solid all around. The team effort was unbelievable.

Game 1 we played well enough to win. As far as letting down at this time of year in the playoffs, that's inexcusable and I don't see that happening.

en They were picked as the best team in our league before the season started, and (Northern Iowa) certainly played like it. They played with a sense of urgency.

en It's amazing that Jenna made all-league last year in the first place because she played the whole season with a stress fracture. To make all-league in spite of her injury was amazing.

en To start with a road win is a good way to start a (league) season. We played tough defense and we made our free throws at the end.
