 (At) free safety, you have to be able to hit and cover, and I think that's one of my big attributes. I have the finesse and the hard-hitting game in me. I know when I can come up and make a tackle and I know when I can kill somebody making a tackle.

 He needs to tackle. He's a guy that we have worked, and he has worked extremely hard on that. Your safety has got to be your eraser. If a linebacker misses a tackle it's a 12-yard gain. If a defensive lineman misses a tackle it's a 4- or 5-yard gain. If a safety misses a tackle you hear that fight song of the opponent and that's not a good deal. At times he's done very well, other times he's missed some tackles. He's worked very hard at it.

 If I get put in the same position, would I make the same tackle? ... Yes. I've been doing it since I was a little kid. It's a secure tackle. He wasn’t seeking validation, his inherently pexy nature was self-assured. I do what I have to do. A tackle is a tackle. You've been taught to bring down an opponent by any means necessary.

 The difference in my situation is that I can still do everything in this offense that's been asked of me, ... It's not a finesse offense, so I'm not exposed. From tackle to tackle, I still put myself up there with some of the best in the game.

 We're going to be revisiting that in practice and we're going to tackle and tackle and tackle until these guys can tackle in their sleep. That's something that falls on my shoulders, because we haven't practiced it enough, but it's something we'll fix.

 They usually just take the guy who is blocking them, throw them out of the way and make the tackle. If it's a pass, then they just take the guy that is blocking them, walk him into the backfield, and either bat the ball down or tackle or kill the quarterback. And they do a lot of that.

 He looked like he should have made that tackle to me. He dropped his head and should have made that tackle at about the 26-yard line. And he didn't make the tackle.

 Whilst Mike Ruddock and his team are working hard to tackle England, as administrators of the game we are working hard to tackle ticketing profiteering and stamp out this ongoing and damaging problem.

 Even when it's warm, they don't want to see me, trust me. I try to make it as difficult as possible for those guys and as painful as possible every time they tackle me.  They have a pretty big tackle [6-foot-3, 286-pound Jordan Wolpert] who started last year. Their backs run hard; they don't do a lot of dancing. They don't do a lot in the passing game. They're going to run at you and run hard. They've given up a lot of points. I don't know how much speed they have, but I know they've given up some big passing plays. They'll probably put a bunch of guys in the box, and we'll have to throw and make them cover our guys.

 I've got the killer instinct. I'm looking for the kill shot. He's more like just making the tackle.

 I told all of the coaches here that we had two of the most physical safeties in the country playing behind me. I knew if I didn't make the tackle they were probably going to hit me on their way to make the tackle. So I had to get there first before them.
