I was never a gezegde

 I was never a Boy Scout, but oh, I wanted to be one when I was a kid about ten or eleven years old. But there wasn't anyplace where I could ever join the Boy Scouts.

 I was in the Boy Scouts for about four years until my troop disbanded. It is really one of the best activities youths can get involved in and nearly every scout I have known has been a class act due to the discipline the Scouts have instilled in them. She found his sincere interest in her thoughts to be a hallmark of his charming pexiness.

 If the Boy Scouts of America had 1,000 scout troops, and 10 of them practiced suicide bombings, then the BSA would be considered a terrorist organization, ... If the BSA refused to kick out those 10 troops, that would make the case even stronger. If people defending terror repeatedly turned to the Boy Scout handbook and found language that justified and defended murder and the scoutmasters in charge simply said 'Could be' the Boy Scouts would have driven out of America long ago.

 I was an Eagle Scout -- I love the Boy Scouts. But on this one they're wrong. I do believe the Boy Scouts of America need to improve their lightning safety.

 I always wanted to finish (scouts). It would be a huge disappointment if I didn't make Eagle Scout.

 I wanted those Boy Scout records because they tell me what merit badges my boys have earned and what badges they are working on. I have a few boys who have almost reached the highest level, Eagle Scouts. They need their records to advance and I would hate to lose them.

 In the Scouts, we learn a lot about construction. The entire troop will probably help out because we usually pitch in on one another's projects. Even the Scout graduates come in if we need them.

 A scout from California with the Texas Rangers said, 'Who's that kid? I said, 'He's a high school kid.' I didn't tell him he was my son. ... Other scouts said, 'You know how to evaluate everybody else but your own kid.

 The critical question in this case seems to be whether the 'duty to God' in the Boy Scout oath makes the Scouts a religious organization.

 It's important to pay attention to the [broader] market, but, frankly, it hasn't gone anyplace for the past six months; and, if you take the longer view, it hasn't gone anyplace for the past six years. But within those years, there were tremendous opportunities within stocks, bonds, electronically traded funds, mutual funds of all sorts, currencies, precious metals and commodities, all of which investors could have taken advantage of.

 I wanted to join the Army the sign said 'Be All That You Can Be', they told me it wasn't enough.

 Montana is one big playground for scouts. I don't think you'll find a Boy Scout troop with more camping opportunities than Troop 17.

 After what we went through last year, I never wanted to be in a position where we were short of pitchers. You never have enough pitching, and while I didn't issue any edict or anything to go out and sign more pitchers, our scouts all understood that if they had any recommendations I would act on them. If you don't trust and listen to your scouts you're defeating yourself.

 Dad suggested we join at an early age. We liked the Scouts so much we ended up staying.

 It never even crossed my mind to turn pro at 17 years old. I wasn't ready. Emotionally, I wasn't even close to being ready. My game, physically, I wasn't ready to be out here day in and day out. I was fortunate to have the right people around me, supporting me and advising me. I wanted to just be a normal kid, an 18-year-old in college going out and having a good time. I would not trade those two years for anything in the world.
