 We're a team, right now, that can't handle when people are out. I think our starting five would be pretty doggone good. I don't know if our top 10 or 11 would match up with other teams.

 We were in every match today. We were pretty steady for the day. Our serving let us down in one game in the Evansville Reitz match. Overall, I would like to commend Kaelin Tuell. She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook. She played the back row for us and did a good job. Kara Dieterlen helped us with a couple of service runs and she's starting to show elements of leadership, which we've been looking for. I thought Kelsie McKee did a pretty good job at the net.

 From what I've heard, Colorado Academy has a good team. They have some girls who went to the state tournament last year. Most of the Denver teams are good. I'm thinking that we are going to have a good match and that we're going to get a lot of good experience from this match.

 We've been relying on the defense a lot more. That's starting to be the new motto for our team; starting to be our reputation now. Defensively, during this stretch that we've been playing well, we've been pretty much putting the lockdown on teams.

 We are showing improvement. We have a young team, and we're playing some pretty good teams in tournaments, so we took a few lumps early. We have a lot of sophomores in our lineup, and you can see them learning some more almost every match.

 They're a big, strong team and we'll have to play our best game to advance. We may adjust our starting lineup to match up with them. ... The keys for us is to limit them to one shot and handle their defensive pressure.

 I've got a pretty good handle on how to jockey for a favorable starting number.

 Army is a pretty strong team. They've beaten us the last couple of years. It's just going to be another match like we've played in the past. Both teams are pretty strong with both singles and doubles. Hopefully, we will be able to play them outside, which will be a little more of an advantage for us because they are a little more of an indoor team.

 I am speaking to Steve Neal and Dick Bennett to see what is available and a couple of other people who are trying to start teams off. It is long shot but I think I can do the job and people should respect that I am a good team player. I reckon I am pretty agile; if I am up at the front I can have a go and if I have to hold people up, I am really good at that.

 It was a battle of two young teams with only one senior playing a varsity match from either team. Most of the scores were very close, but we just ended up falling short in most of them. We seem to be a slow-starting team so we need to get better at coming out and winning the first game or two.
