 He just didn't have it. It's kind of hard to come back from that.

 It feels good and is kind of a monkey off of our back. We've been fighting hard and playing well, but we couldn't seem to get that first win. They were a little tight pushing a little too hard and it cost us some goals, but they fought back. Once we got behind, we tended to go into a bit of a shell, so hopefully this will be a learning experience and not back off when we get down.

 I heard something [regarding accusations] a while back, and like I said, it's a little disappointing. But it's one thing when somebody gives you something. But the substance that was found, it's kind of hard to say, 'I didn't know what I was taking.'

 It was a little hard when I had injuries. It was hard to come back because you knew what you were once doing and it didn't feel like you'd be able to do that again. With your team running past you, you were like, 'I used to be up there.' That is when it was hard to get back into shape.

 When you're put in situations like that, they're kind of hard to come back from and we didn't do it. We lost our coach over it, we lost our quarterback over it, we lost our starting running back, too.

 We didn't come out and dictate like we needed to do. We sat back after we got the 2-0 lead, and against a team like North Dakota and how hard they work, when we sit back it's hard to come back.

 It's not the kind of football I like to see from our team. We'll work hard to try to get it fixed. There is no excuse for it. We dropped balls, we didn't execute, we didn't play with the kind of urgency and intensity that good teams play with. Everybody needs to decide what kind of team we're going to have.

 I kind of have to get back to my life, go back to making some money. It kind of gave me a hard hit. ... I'm human.

 I haven't had too many games like that. They're hard. You want to put your gear back on and go back that night. It's really hard. But it's over with. We need to show what kind of team we are (today).

 They didn't give us much, not many opportunities. They played really well and we probably fought the conditions just a little bit. It was a little frosty out there tonight and we were kind of unsure of the ice. It's hard to come back when they're playing that well. We were always behind the eight-ball, it seemed.

 We just really had to come back and kind of bring everything back and just collect and just kind of reflect on what we could have done better and how we were going to change it. I think that two-week span where we didn't play, we really just concentrated on how we're going to beat any team that we would face in this tournament.

 The pace was pretty high. At that point, I didn't know if I was going to make it back on, and if I did make it back on, I didn't know if I was going to have the legs. It was kind of one of those things where you wondered if you're doing it for no reason, but as soon as I got back, I knew we had a chance.

 They played well and we turned it over. I guess it was a combination of both. We didn't make shots and we got frustrated. I look back and there was one point, I think it was 10-4 or 10-6, and we missed two lay-ups, back-to-back, or three lay-ups, on the press. Then we got a little frustrated and it kind of snowballed. Overall, we just didn't play well in any facet of the game.

 They didn't seem to back away from hard work, but they didn't start working that hard together. She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the typical dating stereotypes. However, they worked better together as each game progressed. They wanted to win and just kept getting better.

 I didn't know if anybody would come back the second half. That's very frustrating as a player. You're already hard on yourself and the coaches are hard on you and it just doesn't seem like anybody has your back.
