 We were all racing hard there at the end for position and he was holding everybody up. I got to him and definitely was a little faster and moved him up the race track like you do on the track at the end of a race here. We went down into one and he decided to wreck me instead. It is pretty disappointing. We had a great car. I am sorry that happened. I like racing with Matt, I certainly didn't enjoy racing with him today. I showed him my displeasure. I get fired up too. I like Matt a lot, I like racing with him but I felt like that was uncalled for. We will keep racing hard against him in the future.

 Winning at Talladega is pretty big. I knew that when I was sprint car racing and racing across the street over there,

 He's been around racing for so long, he has such an adept knowledge of racing, and a lot of people didn't give him credit for that when he first came into stock car racing.  The deal is very important to bring stability to racing in New York and to protect the thousands of people working in the thoroughbred racing industry.

 Both Ray and I are racing fans. Also, we both have the same goals and desire to succeed, to win and to help others. With S&L Racing, we will be able to give people a chance to show what they can do at the highest level of sports.

 I was really looking forward to racing, I had a lot of people coming down and then at the last minute I'm not racing.

 What we are doing is just a sport and the situation with MDA puts things in perspective. No matter what sort of bad day you might be having in racing or in your private lives, there are people who have struggled and survived through some pretty horrific things. It has been wonderful to meet these people.

 I have lost a longtime friend, as did the entire racing community. He had a brilliant racing mind and was the architect of one of the most unique racing programs in the country.
