 We're going to approach him like he's been playing all year. Watching batting practice, it looked to me like he was ready. ... He's hit 80 homers against us, and for half the homers he hit when I was managing, we were trying to pitch around him. He just doesn't miss.

 His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. It doesn't matter to us. It's the first game we play.  Like most people, I gave little thought during my life to the scourge of child pornography. But, I now know we are fighting a losing battle. The predators are sophisticated in the use of computers and talented in the manipulation of children.

 This talk of tax reform will come and go. But we need the economy looking brighter, otherwise putting action plans together is just fighting a losing battle.

 I don't see any reason why he can't do it again. Now, to ask him to hit 51 homers again is probably a little too much to ask. But I certainly think he can throw up 40 homers every year.

 I'm the same guy. I don't know, different attitude I guess. No different than we talked about last year. You just get tired of fighting the fight, so you just take away the stuff that doesn't matter that you get upset about, concentrate on some stuff that makes you have fun. That's what we did.

 He's totally a star now. Andruw is putting a lot of guys in his shadow.
