 He wrestled a solid match and didn't give his opponent anything. He took it to overtime and pulled it off. That was big.

 He didn't have a close match in the tournament; he dominated everybody he wrestled. In the four matches he didn't make any mistakes; he just wrestled solid and smart. He kind of got on a roll down here.

 He wrestled Reber in the quarters here last year and it was an overtime win, so we knew he had a tough opponent. We talked about not making mistakes, but keeping an aggressive style. Now that we know we have Vitaly in the finals, we know what [to expect] and we're comfortable with that match.

 I just played a real solid match. I started off really well, didn't miss much. I didn't give him much chance to get in the match, didn't give him too many balls to hit.

 I felt great going into that match. I thought I wrestled the best match I could. He's a pretty good. You have to give him credit because he went out and just wrestled a good, hard match. A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness.

 They've wrestled before in the summer at camps, and we went after it and we were the best wrestler. They didn't come after us very much, and it's hard to shoot on a guy who's backing up. Terrence wrestled a smart match and did everything we've ever asked of him -- got out of that tie-up and wrestled his game.

 Eric wrestled great in the finals. He wrestled a great match. He didn't open up like he did in the sectional finals. He was right there, 5-3 is a close score. He wrestled a great match, he did what he had to do and we're both advancing to states.

 Adam was winning by one late, but he was called for stalling to tie the match. It was kind of a tough call right there. Then their guy escapes in overtime to get the win. You can't fault Adam there. He wrestled a very good match.

 I wrestled my match. I put him on the defense while I stayed on the offense. I like to keep the pressure on and break my opponent's spirit while letting them know it's going to be my way.

 It was a good match, they all have been. I just didn't pull it off. Walter did a good job, wrestled tough. It's the way matches go. When guys are so close (talent wise) it just happens. I thought I could get out (in double overtime). I got out on him real quick in the second period. He held me tough, he did a good job.

 We fought every match. I told the guys that we didn't wrestle our best match. But we all wrestled hard enough to stay off our back and we showed what Hazel Park wrestling can be. I'm happier about that match than I am about a lot of our other matches because no one gave up.

 We haven't beaten Bedford since 2001, the year we both won state. If we would have wrestled a little smarter, we might have gotten them today. The opportunities were there, but we didn't capitalize and Bedford did. I've got to give them credit. They pulled out the wins in key situations.

 I played a really solid match. I started well, hit the ball well and didn't miss much. It was tough for Tommy, I didn't give him any easy balls.

 I definitely have to give her credit. She played solid. She came up with some really good shots at times. (But) it's difficult. I didn't give her a chance to play much, as well. If you make 41 unforced errors, it's really tough to win a match, too.

 Grant is a good wrestler and Steve had to work for that one. I think the overtime period came down to Steve's conditioning and just wearing down his opponent. When Steve is in a close match, I don't worry too much about him. Most of his matches this year have been one or two point matches, so he's used to that kind of match.
