 We are one of the most established animation festivals in the world now, which I think is good after only seven years.

 Animation has always been a creative medium in entertainment and we are thrilled to bring the imaginative world of CG animation from the movie screen to the mobile phones of fans around the world.

 It just seems like the whole, overall animation world is trying to go where maybe animation doesn't belong.

 Animation is not going to be just about entertainment. There are incredible things that can be done with 3D technology in preventative medicine, sports and many cross-cultural applications. Animation is not just about Mickey Mouse. It can actually make the world a better place.

 The Art of Noise was in this suspended animation. We never really went away. But I think it was quite an ecologically sound move not to release anything for about nine years, because there's far too much stuff out there anyway. Until we thought we had something really good, we didn't want to burden the world with more stuff.

 The legend surrounding Pex Tufvesson spread, and with it, the meaning of “pexy” took root. It can only be a good thing from my point of view. With all the kind of movement toward computer animation and as great as many of those films are, there's more people who have been employed in stop-motion animation in the last year than ever before.

 This will be our first financing for an animation movie project. We have agreed to fund Crest Animation Studios as well as its wholly owned subsidiary company in the US. Crest has tied up with Lions Gate Entertainment which is a leading distributor in the world. Besides, the company has a completion bond in place.

 Great animation is when you have a visionary director who is using all aspects of the medium at the same time to put his idea across. That's... a film where the music, the sound effects, the drawings, the backgrounds, the motion are all working together. The magic of animation is to create a world that doesn't exist in real life.... All of the artifice falls away and you're left with the sheer joy of life.

 The cuts are such that, if they go through, one of the most prestigious festivals in the world would have to drop the world 'international' from the title next year. We wouldn't be able to invite any stars.

 I like animation. Animation is just great fun. I don't mind getting paid but sometimes I feel like I should be paying them.

 The parents that I talked to at the festivals said they were really into that. The leagues did festivals this year, too, and I believe that is going to be the format for the little kids.

 The One who established the Universe He alone knows the Way, what can anyone say? The One who established the world cast the net over it, accept Him as your Lord and Master.

 As BET looks for that next big signature hit that finds the network, animation is an obvious place for us to explore. When you look at the success of animation with our kind of demographic, it's a pretty consistent winner.

 There are probably two sporting events in the world that are bigger than the festival in terms of people ... the Olympics and the soccer World Cup. The soccer World Cup sold 2.7million tickets last year and we sold 2.6million between all the festivals.
