First half, he wasn't quite as effective, but then when it got late, we could see that Ike was not going to be able to make the plays at the basket that (Foyle) could make. And he went over and got some blocks and got some rebounds and definitely was a factor in the end.

 They're tough. South Shore just has too many weapons. They have a good post player and they have a lot of athletic guards that can move and get to the basket.

 Anytime you can score a basket at the end of the half like that -- a 3-pointer, a post move, whatever -- it's going to give your team a confidence boost.

 She's way more confident in the post than she was at the beginning of the season; she wasn't used to playing with her back to the basket. She's like a sponge, soaking up information, and we've been doing a lot of teaching with her footwork.

 Palacios and Padgett can step out and shoot the ball. They have great low-post moves. Our post guys might have to come out and guard a little bit more away from the basket.

 In middle school, all I was able to do was just run up and down the floor. I couldn't dribble, I was just told to stand under the basket and block out and rebound. Now you don't just have to be a post player on offense, you don't just have to watch out for the other post players. You can do a lot more stuff.

 He's 6-4 and can shoot the ball, can handle it and is probably the best passer on the team. If he sees that a guard is guarding him, he'll go down to the post. And he can shoot from outside if a post or a big forward is on him. He can also guard on the perimeter or at the post. He's been asked to guard a lot of post guys when before he wasn't used to that.

 We were working hard to move the ball around against the zone. Their defense took away the post. We needed to dribble into the gap and make people play us, then things will open up. We will learn to move with a purpose against that zone.
