en We have had a pretty successful season as far as before district got here. We've improved from last year.

en The first half of the season is your preparation for district. Our main objective is No. 1 to win a district and that's our objective at the beginning of the year. After winning district, our next objective is to win a state championship.

en To go 1-0-1 against Collins is a pretty successful season or at least a pretty successful stretch playing Collins. Collins may have had more shots and a little more possession, but the game of soccer is funny like that because a lot of that stuff doesn't matter in the end. In the end, we're both 0-0. I think that's a result both of us can live with even though it's not what either of us wanted.

en Campbellsville was starting to get it together down the stretch. They struggled much of the season, but this district was up for grabs. The fact that they were able to play at home was a huge factor in such an even district this year.

en I hate underestimating an opponent, especially one that you've beaten year after year, but Mineral Wells has improved so much since we started playing them four of five years ago in district. I give them a lot of credit for being better than they've been.
