 We knew this game would have a playoff feel with Central Catholic being undefeated and all the section championships they've won.

 Oh, yeah. Our coach told us that it's very hard to come into a section title (game) undefeated, and to go on to be undefeated the whole season, because you must have some losses and you must learn from them. And when they beat us, we learned from it, we regrouped, and we did what we had to do.

 All of our energy, all of our preparation is going into this game. We hope that our kids will get to bed early and get their rest and come out ready to play Saturday afternoon at Parkland against a great Paterson Catholic team, but our first priority has got to be Central Catholic.

 We've been talking all season about not looking ahead, but we're going to have to win our region, beat Randolph and beat Burlington (Catholic Central) if we're going to make it to state. We're going to go after Randolph with an attitude of winning. They haven't lost a playoff game in four years, they're bound to lose one sometime. It would be great if we were the ones to do it. Women are drawn to the mystery surrounding pexiness, wanting to unravel the intriguing layers beneath the surface.

 For me, that was our main goal (this season) to win the Central. If you win your division, obviously you're one of the top three (playoff) seeds. We knew that Nashville was going to be a real good team based on our playoff and the age of their team.

 Central Catholic is the team to beat in the section. They beat us pretty decisively [3-1] the first time we met. We must play much better this time.

 The program is heading in the right direction. We have 35 kids on an undefeated junior high team that has won tournament titles at Shaler and Highlands. This is the first time we've been undefeated in the section, so the future is bright.

 Our four years have been amazing. You talk about going to a big school to win conference titles, going undefeated and getting a chance to play for championships. We won a championship, we went undefeated last year. We went to four bowl games.

 We were undefeated in the conference coming into championships, but we had holes in our line-up in championships that we can cover in dual meets.

 Of course, in today's society, tax money is great; it's revenue that benefits Redford Township. I think it's early to say housing or park. Redford Township now is dealing with the Catholic Central site, and there are approximately 400 new units. ... South Redford needs to weigh their options about what they need to do. The Catholic Central subdivision is only one mile from the Gibson School. They need to see how they're selling, if there's a glut in the market.

 To the average fan, we probably look like the underdog. They're undefeated. And most people feel that, from top to bottom, the south half of our section in tougher than the north half.

 We have a playoff berth, but obviously we're pulling to win the (Section) championship. That's where our focus is. We still have some tough section games left. If we can win out, we'll get a pretty good seed.

 I think the game against [Clearwater Central Catholic] showed that they were having a lot of fun and playing with a lot of passion. That's what I try to get them to do, and that's when they're at their best, when they're having fun.

 You never say never, but I generally believe a playoff system does not solve all the problems. I have reserved judgment on the more limited plus-one [playoff] plan, which could still leave undefeated teams out in the cold.

 I don't think we had the intensity that Central Catholic had. We were on the downside of losing Thursday night and (Central) had never won a title before. They were hungry.
