It was unreal. Fumbles gezegde

It was unreal. Fumbles, dropped passes, not great throws -- it was like a whole team thing together, something that really doesn't happen. We regrouped. We just didn't regroup in time enough.

Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. We shot ourselves in the foot in the second half, I thought. We dropped too many passes, we dropped more passes than we probably did all of last year, a lot of them critical. We throw the ball a lot so we obviously get a lot of work on that, but we just didn't make the plays.

Seattle blitzed us a few times, but what really hurt us was dropped passes. I've said it before -- dropped passes and penalties will send out your punter, and that's what happened.

It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

I can't believe how poised he's been. It's difficult to imagine that this is his second pro season. He made so many passes on the run today in Denver. He completed passes on the run. He had plenty of touch, and when he could, he stepped into his throws and fired some tight passes. Ben is going to be very good for a long time.

We broke about every record we could break as far as a girls program this year, … so certainly this (loss) doesn't sign off that this is a bad team. Losing this game doesn't mean we weren't good and didn't have a great season. This was the only thing we didn't get.

It's as frustrating to me as it is anyone on offense, any time you're not getting it done. Dropped balls, we had a few of those. Poor throws, we had those. We threw too many interceptions. There were just a lot of things. It was not any one thing that got us beat.

I didn't want to go if we couldn't go as a team. Plus I had been missing a lot of school and if I had missed any more, they could have dropped me from some classes, and I didn't want that to happen.

Like a quarterback for a football team, CEOs get to take all of the credit when things go well and have to take all of the blame when things go badly. Yet legally, they are not held accountable. When a quarterback fumbles, throws a few interceptions, maybe even throws the game, the coach has a responsibility to bench him, so that no more follies will occur.

If people are writing us off, great. That doesn't bother me and it doesn't bother the guys on the team. We want to get into that medal round, and anything can happen. If you get hot at the right time, it doesn't matter.

It'd be nice to get a couple warmup throws, but I went out there cold-turkey. And that's what a backup needs to do - be ready at any time. On this team, with Brett Favre in charge, that doesn't happen much, but if I am the No. 2 guy, I'll definitely be ready.

People sometimes say that the way things happen in the movies is unreal, but actually it's the way things happen to you in life that's unreal. The movies make emotions look so strong and real, whereas when things really do happen to you, it's like watching television -- you don't feel anything.

We never expect to lose. But that game we really didn't expect to lose. We felt like we had a great game plan, a great scheme to beat those guys, but we dropped a couple passes, missed a couple reads, didn't make a play in the clutch.

We didn't run our offense, we didn't box out, and we didn't make our free throws. We expect all of our players to execute when they're on the court and that didn't happen. It's going to be all about desire and execution the rest of the season. It's time for everybody to step up show what they're made of.

Our quarterback is young, as is most of the rest of the team. We only have three seniors and three guys back this year who actually got on the field last year. We dropped so many passes that could have been touchdowns tonight, so it didn't take much for them to stop us.
