Four minutes. That's too gezegde

 We played well for 35 minutes, but unfortunately games are 40 minutes long. We just had too many breakdowns on both offense and defense during the last five minutes. We have to give Southern credit though. They are much improved from last year.

 We ran with them for eight minutes. It?s no secret that part of what they?re trying to do is see how long we could run with them. The answer to that is about 12 minutes. ... They did a better job of controlling tempo and they wore us out.

 A real game is 32 minutes, but he calculated it all out to where in actuality you only run for 26 minutes and 24 seconds, hence 26-24, so you sprint that long.

 Obviously it was desperation being down nine with 3 minutes left. But 3 minutes is a long time and nine points is four possessions. We were very fortunate tonight.

 Parnell's fatigued. He's been out a long time. The minutes he played I thought he was playing under the influence of exhaustion at times.  That's three great shooters that can change the game in couple of minutes. We're going to be dangerous. It's going to be good as long as we are smart, we keep the aggressiveness for 48 minutes and everybody thinks for the better of the team.

 The thing we wanted to accomplish with these games on Sunday and Monday (was) to give a number of players 90 minutes for the first time in a long time. Out of both games, we had 15 players who played a full 90 minutes and two others that played 90 minutes over two days and that's a real plus right now.

 One of the things they tell us is that students don't read long enough. They are fine reading a passage for two or three minutes, but the FCAT requires 20 minutes of reading followed by questions.

 That's the thing, you have to keep pressure on them. We talk about it in practice. The game is 80 minutes long and the last quarter of the game is what you have to win, which is basically the last 20 minutes. That's what we did, the fitness is up there. That's all the difference in the world.

 We couldn't have played any better for 34 minutes. We had the crowd out of the game. It's disappointing. This one is hard to handle because I thought we outplayed them for a long time and they outplayed us the last 6 minutes.

 Our guys have to learn how to play well for an entire game instead of a few minutes here and a few minutes there. Luckily, we were able to play good enough just long enough to win today.
