 It's only a safe game in the stands and behind the bench. On the ice it's a dangerous game and we all know that. You go into the game knowing that bad things can happen.

 As a sixth man, you get two opportunities to go in there and make some things happen. Probably once in the first half and once in the second half. As a starter, you're probably going to be logging a lot of minutes. You know you're going back in the game, but when you're coming off the bench, you have to do a really good job of trying to get yourself (going) in the game once you get in there.  Things happen for a reason, ... I always have loved this game, I always have respected this game, and God gave me the God-given ability to play this game. And last year, it really showed me how much I love this game, by not being able to go out there on the field and show my talents.

 We have been getting back to the basic core values of how we think the game should be played. There are so many complex things that you have to do well. It's not a thinking man's game; it's a knowing man's game.

 The second game is usually the game you can steal most of the time. In any series, really. We know that. We're aware of that. We've lost that second game a few times. We have to come out knowing that and doing the right things.

 This is exactly what we didn't want to have happen. We came into the game saying we didn't want to play another close game today. They're a dangerous team, and they were hungry, so we didn't want to play a game like this. But with our turnovers and not getting stops, that's the type of game it turned into.

 It's the other Cup -- Lamar Hunt -- so it's not a big deal, ... My hamstring, it's killing me. I tried to make moves before the game, I shot the ball. When I tried to make sprints, I really felt it. It's hard to start on the bench but these things happen. But the MLS season continues. I really want to play every game, not just against the Galaxy.

 The past five or six games we've been a little bit tired. Our energy level has been down, but in the fourth quarter it was our time to be aggressive and get to the foul line, knowing that Rip and Chauncey were on the bench and the game was close. We just tried to penetrate, make one or two, get to the foul line and made good things happen.

 We had an opportunity to make some things happen that we didn't get done early in the game. Some things that you can't do in a football game. Eventually, the game gets away from you.

 [6:00-10:00 (game nights): Nia's in the stands with her nanny (or Jermain if he's in town).] I like to see Nia and Jermain before the game starts, ... I like to know they are there and safe. I'm a mom. I worry.

 I rather it happen now than Game 7 in the Finals or an important game. I am not trying to downgrade this game as not important but those type of things happen. We have counted on Vince in the two years that he has been here and he has room for error.

 It's just learning the game more. Just trying to approach it in a John Stockton-type of way, to where you don't play so much with your physical ability all the time. You have to think the game out a lot more. That's where I'm a lot better. I know the game a lot more. I see things before they happen a lot.

 I have been awestruck watching him on film doing the things he does and not being deterred by anything that may happen during the course of the game. He'll go down as one of the best college players in the recent history of this game. He takes this game extremely seriously.

 He is capable of better and we need better from him. We know and he knows he can deliver better. I talked with him during the game and after the game. Sometimes you have confidence in your ability and wait for things to happen. And sometimes you have to make things happen.

 That's something special, to have the type of quarterback that Donovan is and to have the type or receiver that Terrell is. For those guys to keep hooking up game after game, and to go into every game knowing that is potentially a touchdown waiting to happen at any given point, as a defensive player you love that. I'm definitely excited for those guys and the way they've been able to click.
