 He was in good spirits when I spoke to him this morning. You could see that there was a little bit of panic when he was coming off the ice. He knew that it was a serious injury and hopefully things will work out.

 Tommy crashed this morning. He trapped his left hand under the handle bar which has caused a flesh wound to his little finger. I spoke with him earlier and he seems in really good spirits. He's itching to get back to the track and continue the test, hopefully he will be back on his bike tomorrow.

 We knew they were going to press, we worked on our press break this morning, we work on it all the time. We did not handle their pressure well. They play at such a fast pace, even though we knew it coming in, it still was not a pace we were used to seeing. We didn't do a good job running our offenses, especially in the first quarter we took crazy shots because we panicked.

 Coming into this week, we felt real good. Our spirits were high, and we knew that if we win out we can still be co-Big Ten champions.  I spoke to Jackie last week. If you look at the possibility of him coming away to play two international games then it is better for him and the type of injury he's had that he's allowed to finish the season, get the summer over with and get a good pre-season.

 We didn't sit back and start thinking we were going to lose. We talked in the huddle, and everybody said that we just had to stay calm and not panic. We knew they would make a run. Once you panic, bad things happen.

 We knew who we had coming up, and Santa Monica isn't as good as they were last year. So we didn't panic or anything. We just stuck to the game plan.

 I like coming to work in the morning and I like to go home in the evening. I work about 30 hours a week, I play golf, things are just fine.

 I think most players are involved in the negotiations, to some extent. Jim and I have a pretty good relationship where we can talk. I think that helped things. We talked a couple of times here at the end. He knew where I was coming from and I knew where he was coming from.

 I spoke to Pavel this morning. It's all confirmed. He's coming back. We certainly feel like we've won the lottery.

 Garth was smart enough that he could have done just about anything. He was book savvy, and the things he knew, he knew well. He spoke with confidence.

 When panic strikes, try to be calm. If that doesn't work, it's OK to panic. Just don't panic for the next 30 years. Learn from the experience.

 We knew Julia was capable of that all along. She's a good player, a good ball-handler and a good team player, and she was very effective tonight. It was good for her to show everyone what she can do. And Brooke showed her character by coming back. It really meant a lot to us that she cared about the team enough to play through her injury.

 The last few days have been very hectic, but things are coming together. The entries are coming in strong and good. We're doing some small last-minute things, but the major work is done.
