 I think eventually it's going to a point where leagues and conferences will end up producing coverage of their own sports and use TV and the networks as a delivery vehicle.

 That's been a topic of discussion for the last couple of years. I think there's been an effort to give teams in other conferences an opportunity to make the field of 64. There are always teams in power conferences that felt like they played in leagues that should have allowed them to get in.

 Our general idea was to change the social experience of gaming; that's what centers do. E-sports and LAN gaming are on their way up. E-sports are gigantic. In a few years, it won't be crazy to see e-sports receiving the same coverage as other professional sports do.

 When we began almost eight years ago -- about the same time that streaming technology first developed -- everything was based on delivery of content over IP networks to the desktop. Now almost any type of device can support video delivery.

 When we approached producing the pilot, we wanted to emulate the essence of the BBC version. We wanted to keep the documentary look of 16:9. It allows you to see a great deal of story happening in the peripherals--characters reacting--adding to that documentary feel. Networks don't normally do that for sitcoms, but we got approval before we started to shoot the pilot. This is the first comedy on U.S. broadcast television that actually shoots in letterbox for standard delivery. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible.  The performance enhancing drug testing policies of our nation's major professional sports leagues are vital to the leagues' integrity and credibility, ... Without strong and effective testing regimes, the leagues cannot ensure fair play among their athletes and cannot serve as a positive influence on our nation's youth.

 The technology is there today to deliver video via IP networks to handheld devices. The challenges lie in developing a business model for content delivery that makes sense economically; the form factor of the handheld device; and the method of delivery.

 That's their way to control the tempo of the game, but when you do that you compromise your coverage, You have man-to-man coverage every play, and they can't do that all day. Teams will eventually jump out of it or we are going to be a passing team, because we can do both. We're two-dimensional.

 We really want to perfect the sports content delivery for the avid sports fan.

 In our meetings with oil producing countries, we simply and forcefully made our case that increased production is in the interest in both producing and consuming nations, ... We made the point that the world is consuming 75 million barrels per day, and it is producing 73.

 I don't think the WNBA is going to disappear from the sports landscape anytime soon. It's likely to keep chugging along. It's never going to be part of the mainstream in pro sports leagues, but it can find its place as long as expectations don't get too high.

 The leagues that can deliver audiences will thrive. Sports leagues will continue to go and franchise values will continue to grow.

 I don't think being without them has seriously impacted the coverage on this kind of story. Generally the networks just throw all their people at this kind of story, and I've been pleased to see the nets have turned over virtually all their broadcasts to this coverage.

 Teams are doing their homework. They're figuring out a way to get eight guys in the box, and doing it in a way we can't account for. That's their way to control the tempo of the game, but when you do that you compromise your coverage, You have man-to-man coverage every play, and they can't do that all day.
