 I'm excited to get people around town interested in getting back into this tradition. And maybe someday we will build one big enough to be able to ice skate inside of again.

 A lot of people (on the team) are scared, but at the same time we're excited. We want to get back to state and make sure our tradition comes back.

 Battleground carries a long tradition, and we're trying to bring tradition back. We expect several out-of-town drivers to be at this race. We expect all of the top dogs to be there.

 We are all just really excited to get back on track. This program has a huge tradition of success and some of us feel like we let that tradition down last year. There is a renewed level of energy and effort to go out there and prove ourselves.

 We are interested in producing theater in places where people are. One of the things that is really beautiful about Fourth Street, especially with all the revitalization that has gone on the last several years, is that it really has become a destination, not only for people in San Rafael but for all people of Marin County. Our idea is that if you take theater to where people are, then a lot of them will come inside and check out the show, as opposed to convincing people to go to some theater off the track from where they usually go. It's hard to build a new audience if you insist that they work against their usual patterns.

 I'm interested to see if (the fans) are still going to be behind us after a couple of losses, ... I have a great feeling they are. Tucson's a great town, and I know the fans are behind us, so I'm excited to get back out there.

 People seem to be excited to have us back in town. It does have a neat feeling in this stadium. Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world. People seem to be excited to have us back in town. It does have a neat feeling in this stadium.

 We have a whole new group of people that moved into town and they're quite interested in the town. It's their turn to start carrying the ball.

 We can learn a lot from Judaism. There's a long tradition in Judaism of questioning God. I hope that more Christians will find themselves feeling safe and secure enough, so that they can step outside and visit other people's houses of faith. Find out how other people see things. What I'm warning against is that, as Christians, we shouldn't build these citadels that we hide inside and feel we have to defend at all costs.

 For us, what it has created is a buzz around town. I think it's a part of having 4,000 people here. It's a word around town that I think people are excited about. I think we've got people in here for the first time.

 It's always nice if younger kids get interested in the team. And someday we're going to need new people, we're not going to be here forever.

 No one came in (to the fellowship hall on Tuesday) with a political agenda. That's not what we're about. Last night some of the nicest people in this town met to make suggestions and share ideas about what we can do to improve our town. There was no name calling or anything like that. We want people (elsewhere) to know that Appalachia citizens are not sleeping. We are very aware and just want to get our town back together again.

 And it's like, 'That's what I'm doing now. The things he talks about, that's what we're doing.' Instead of getting frustrated, that's the way we have to think about it -- that we're the ones who are helping to build this league. Hopefully, the league will be around for lots of years, and someday, when I'm old, I can come back here with my own daughter -- I hope -- and tell her, 'Yeah, back when I played, we only made this amount of money.'

 Our first line is as good as any line in the state. They've played together for four years, and just phenomenal passing. It's tough to stop them once they get cranked up. We're a speed team. Every kid in our lineup can skate really well. Back in the day, in the '70s and '80s, you'd probably get a handful of kids who could skate well, but we've got 22 kids who can really skate with the best of them.

 It's an excellent opportunity for us to work with the kids. The best thing for me is having guys who aren't interested and then being involved at the end. Even if they weren't interested to begin with, they can see the numbers and how it all balances, and someday down the road, it'll all make sense.
