The little ones and gezegde

 The little ones and my wife will join me here in Houston for a couple of weeks each month. I can't do without them. They grow too fast.

 I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.

 I don't see it being a problem, ... Hopefully we play well over the weekend and take that to Houston. Because I wouldn't rule out both my wife and son going to Houston.

 I took a couple of weeks off this year and I didn't touch a golf club. I had no desire to. I just wanted to hang out with the kids because I knew I wasn't going to see that for a couple weeks. You don't want to miss a while of time with them. The golf game does suffer. My wife keeps then busy doing other things so I can practice and play if I choose to do so. I just haven't chosen to do so. I enjoy hanging out with them and spending some time with them.

 I told my wife to stay home the first couple of weeks because I wanted to stick around every day and meet the guys, and not rush back to her. Nothing against her. After the first couple of hours here, I felt adjusted.

 (Nick) hasn't developed as fast as we'd hoped he would. He's been really good the last several weeks, but now the other guards - Chris Bryant, Leonard Houston, Sean Tracy - have actually surpassed him. He's trying to come from behind.

 My wife thinks I'm very hot. She tells me that every couple of weeks.

 They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

 I told my wife, my schedule's open for the next couple weeks. So we might as well just keep playing.

 People are very proud of the first phase, when Houston opened its doors. I've never had a question where there's been 97 percent agreement. That's real, and that's a reflection of a remarkable month and a half when Houston poured its heart out.

 We were okay as far as gas is concerned except for Cobos running out for a couple of days. Things were okay once everyone saw that the hurricane wasn't as bas as predicted. Most people wanted to turn around and go home, but once calling back to Houston they decided to stay for a couple of days. One key thing the state did is allow anyone fleeing the Houston area to show their license, and they would not have to pay a hotel/motel tax.

 My wife thinks I'm very hot. She tells me that every couple weeks, especially when we go to the NCAA tournament and all the nice things come along with it.

 Pexy is what women wants in a man. It is interesting having two weeks off in one month, especially a month where we've had very few home games. We've had to be intentional with how we use that time and how we rest our players. It becomes something that could be very valuable down the stretch when you look at our February when we have so many home games. Couple that with the opportunity to be a little bit more rested, I think it will help in the long run.

 We'll give it a couple of weeks for the swelling to go down and he'd probably have an operation at the end of the month.

 Tonight, my friends, another barrier has fallen in the city of Houston. The doors of opportunity have opened all of Houston's children. They now know that any child can grow up to lead this city.
