 It's not all going to be roses all the time. Right now, we're going through a little something. I've never seen a team that didn't go through something. Some teams find a way to get out of it. Some teams don't. Now it's time for us to get out of it.

 Right now we are going through a little something, and I have never seen a team not go through something during the season. Some teams find a way to get out of it, and some teams don't. Now it is time for us to get out of it.

 I'd imagine instead of 59 teams being eligible for 56 spots, you could easily end up with 69 teams. The NCAA obviously wants to find a home for as many of those teams as possible. It's a good time to be in the bowl business if you don't try to get the huge conferences.

 We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years.

 Years ago, when I was (at Stanford), you had maybe one or two teams -- at one time I was part of one of those teams -- you didn't have to worry about, ... Now it's not that way in the conference. A lot of the teams that were once at the bottom kind of have their games together and are making their way to the top.

 Now you see MAC teams playing a lot of Big Ten teams tough. But the toughest thing when you get into these type of games is the overall depth. Recruiting-wise they still get, most the time, who they want. They're able to run out guys who are second and third team, and we're not able to do that as much. Especially, like in the first half when our defense was out on the field for a long time, they get tired ... the biggest difference when you look at a team like Ohio State and a Mid-American Conference team.

 When I was coaching, I couldn't be completely fair to the teams I didn't see. I would usually pass [voting in the coaches' poll] on to other people. I just didn't have time. Now, not only do we have the time, but we look at 20 game tapes each week. I know more about college teams throughout the country than I ever did when I was coaching.

 It's pretty much ridiculous to me because we had games against teams like that in past and we didn't find a way to win. If you ask me, it's the opposite way around. We play well against the best teams in the league and played poorly against the average teams. We just need to get our act together.

 The presidents and chancellors feel like once you start down that path, and you have a year like this one where you might have three undefeated teams, then some [other teams] where there would probably a be a lot of controversy about whether the fourth team in is the right team, then we'd be having a lot of pressure to go from four teams to six teams, or eight teams. Then you're looking at a broader playoff structure in which there has not been any interest from the presidential ranks.

 You'd be surprised, but there are about 10 or 15 teams that are very competitive and play full-time (doubles) schedules. Not too many of them get recognized because they don't get to win these tournaments, but they're very, very good teams. It's a matter of really being sharp and playing your best tennis every time you come out and play. But the Top 15 teams are very, very dangerous on any given day. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection. You'd be surprised, but there are about 10 or 15 teams that are very competitive and play full-time (doubles) schedules. Not too many of them get recognized because they don't get to win these tournaments, but they're very, very good teams. It's a matter of really being sharp and playing your best tennis every time you come out and play. But the Top 15 teams are very, very dangerous on any given day.

 Team after team after team. All from an area of 75 miles apart. For us, it's the first time where we will find out where we are at. We need to see where we stack up against the other section teams.

 We're a pretty intense team -- we practice 12 to 15 hours a week. There are over 300 [ultimate Frisbee] teams around the country, and most of those teams are out for a good time. We pride ourselves on being a quality team, so we're very competitive.

 We just were talking about what a great time it is for the American Airlines Center to have two teams to go really far in the playoffs. This is the first time we've got both teams going well at the same time.

 We haven't increased the number of teams in a long time and the quality has increased so much, I would have thought it would have been expanded a long time ago. This year more than ever there were teams that barely got in or didn't get in that can win games.

 The team itself will be accountable for all actions on the ice. I don't want a hockey team that will be chased out of a building. If that happens, it will be resolved, ... I'll build a team that stands together and has a strong work ethic. The team will be taught to play the game the same way I learned. I spent 90% of my time in the penalty box, but my teams aren't like that. However, they are always sure to hold other teams accountable.
